Should I get metal roof and also DDPro?

Agreed. I absolutely LOVE sitting in them (with glass canopy's) when I am a passenger and it's not a brutally hot Summer Day, but overall, I prefer the quiet and thermal aspects of "real roofs."
Meanwhile, I think I’ll always pick glass over metal again. With the sunshades for brief weeks in the summer, it’s spectacular.

Also went for metal roof Touring. Every car I've ever had with glass/sun roof/moon roof/whatever I've generally kept the cover (if it had one) closed as I find overhead light distracting and prefer the "cocoon" feel. When I had a glass roof AGT loaner for a week I really did not like the disembodied sun visors in my face nor the tint line right in my field of view. I know others love the glass, and I can see the appeal, just ecstatic I did not chose it (obviously this is a purely personal choice and there is no right/wrong).

Also not a fan of two tone trim (though I could live with it), and was also elated my Touring body/roof/trim all matches (also just personal preference).

FWIW I have the metal roof and I don't regret it for a second. I've had 2 loaners both with glass canopies. I made the right call for me.

I think I'm done in general with the glass canopy vehicle trend. I've had several. I'll take a panoramic roof if it has an actual shade (not just EC). Otherwise, pass.
When I had my seat back material replaced, we were given a GT loaner with a glass roof. Both my wife and I were not wowed by the roof and agreed we would not have gotten one had it been offered. Having had it on my 2017 MS, been there done that. I can certainly see why opinions may be divided on this. I also found myself bothered by the sun coming through in upper frontal areas where that doesn’t occur with the metal roof. In general, even with ordinary sunroofs, we tend to keep the cover closed.

Although admittedly I wasn’t 100% focused on it and didn’t have my Tidal subscription in the loaner, I didn’t notice any significant difference in the sound quality of the audio.

With that said, we just traded my wife’s 22 i4 for a 25 i5 and her preferred color combo (white exterior, white interior) happened to be only available with a glass canopy roof. Such is life. However since it’s not one huge piece of glass like the Lucid, the sun is not an issue in the upper front part of the car. Additionally, the cover can be closed.

It's very much a personal preference thing. I also don't much care for convertibles. A lot of people do. I do like a sunroof with a physical shade. I open it maybe a dozen times per year, but those times I do I appreciate having it. Problem is the other 250 days or however often I drive it, I don't like the glass roofs without a shade.

But as I said, that's just my preferences, try both, see what you like. I think a lot of people will like the pano roofs with an EC opaque option - I personally find that "milky" color ugly and don't like it, so it doesn't work for me.

Overall I don't think you'll actually notice it that much after your initial drives either way, unless you live somewhere like a blazing desert, in which case you might notice all summer long.

I ordered my Touring with the metal roof. The Touring and Grand Touring I test drove both had glass roofs and I liked the look of them at night, but didn't feel like I'd want to live with one all the time. I did have my roof and mirrors wrapped because I really like the two-tone look of the glass roof cars.
