FWIW, my scheduled charging has always worked fine. You need to ensure that the Tesla charger is not doing the scheduling, and the way that the scheduled charging works is a little confusing, but it does work for me, consistently, and start charging my car after 9pm each night.Sorry to have to say this, but I don't think swapping to Lucid's charging station will fix the problem you described. It's the Air's issue with every Level 2 changing station, including Lucid's own.
There is a particular series of steps you can take to get scheduled charging to work most of the time. Maybe someone who knows them can post here.
I'm not 100% sure what you're trying to do, but I don't think it'll work. I've found scheduled charging to be 100% reliable as long as the car, and only the car, is doing the scheduling. You can plug in the charger at any time, but using it to schedule causes problems. They only downside is that the car can set a start time but not a stop time.I don't have my home charger installed (it arrived today).
If I were to tell the car to start charging at 10pm (to get lower rates) and tell my charger to charge from noon (long before I plug in), until 6am (when lower rates end). Would the car start at 10pm and stop by 6am (assuming I plugged in at 5pm)?
This will work fine and is how I have my Chargepoint setup.I don't have my home charger installed (it arrived today).

The scheduled charging is for a 12 hour window. Depending on on the state of charge you may complete the charge by 6 am. Multiple your charge rate by 8 hrs to deter the kwhr.I don't have my home charger installed (it arrived today).

You are lucky. I have had issues with the scheduled charging on both the Lucid home charger (which you cannot schedule on) and the ChargePoint charger with the scheduled charging turned off on the charger. They are sporadic issues, but very real. Sometimes it starts automatically outside the 12 hour window. Sometimes it doesn’t start at all.FWIW, my scheduled charging has always worked fine. I believe you. Just adding my own experience too.You are lucky. I swapped the old Tesla wall charger for a new Lucid one. The issue has been resolved. I can schedule charge now with no issues.Sorry to have to say this, but I don't think swapping to Lucid's charging station will fix the problem you described. Hi…when you did the swap, knowing the Tesla wall charger runs on 48A and the lucid wall mount can support 80 A, did you (A) put in 100 amp breaker and (B))switch to lower gauge copper wires (4-12 AWG down to 2-8AWG)?I swapped the old Tesla wall charger for a new Lucid one. It looks like my old Tesla charger was too old (2016) and not compatible with Lucid...
I still wish the Lucid software had an "end time" feature in the schedule charging!
I did not make any changes to my breaker box. The Lucid wall unit is set to 50 amp. The breakers were kept at 60 amp rating.Hi…when you did the swap, knowing the Tesla wall charger runs on 48A and the lucid wall mount can support 80 A, did you (A) put in 100 amp breaker and (B))switch to lower gauge copper wires (4-12 AWG down to 2-8AWG)?
Definitely depends on driving habits too. Thanks for the response!I did not make any changes to my breaker box. The Lucid wall unit is set to 50 amp. The breakers were kept at 60 amp rating.
I know that's underutilizing the Lucid unit, but since I charge my car at night when rates are cheaper, it doesn't matter to me.
