IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL
This notice applies to your vehicle, 50EA1DAA0NA002800 Campaign – N01
NHTSA RECALL NUMBER – 22V090
?

No. Where did you get that? What is it for?
Email from Customer Care
"Front strut dampers installed on certain Lucid Airs may have been manufactured by the supplier with the snap ring, located directly below the coil spring seat, installed in the wrong orientation. This condition may result in a sudden loss of ground clearance, vehicle vibration, and front brake line damage, increasing the risk of a crash."

I am not sure if it is limited to just a few or all.

I’m thinking it must be some rather than all… I think we’d have seen more acknowledgments from people here.

Spoke with service, they don't know which are impacted and which are not. Customers are only beginning to be notified today (and they were notified today also).
My car is going to service anyway tomorrow, so I'll see if I'm impacted also

Yes, I got this, this morning. I called the service center. They will send a mobile team to inspect my car when they come out later this week to replace my windshield wiper arms. They said that only 2% of the cars are effected. If they find there is a problem, they will shuttle the car to the service center to perform the repairs. Or I suppose I could drive there (4 hour round trip) for the 4 hour repair.

What’s weird is… I didn’t get an email. I just heard about it here.

I believe it is specific to VIN numbers of vehicles which had the suspect front dampers.

Hopefully this is true because 2% is like 10 cars

Yes mine is already in the shop waiting on parts to replace the screens and they are going to do that as well

@Alex , what happened to the windshield wiper arms?

I got the notice, too. I believe those dampers are manufactured by Bilstein.

My car is going into the shop tomorrow for the radar/laser install, so the mobile tech won't check it until next Monday.

On another note, the bass dropped out of the audio system again today. I was hoping that problem had disappeared with the new control module and software updates. As before, the bass returned when I restarted the car, indicating the problem is most likely in the software instead of with a faulty wiring connection. Since Lucid installed a custom program to give them remote access to the car's computer, I'm hoping they can get to the bottom of this once and for all.

Which radar/laser? I’ve been looking…

Got my recall also! Being serviced tomorrow 10am.

You guys are making me really not want to receive my car on Wednesday…

Radenso. Switched from Escort Passport with out last car and like the Radenso better.

Why Radenso over K4? And where are they putting the laser and the alert panel?
