Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

You could've said the same thing about Japanese manufacturers in 1975, or Koreans in 1990. Never underestimate the ability of a motivated, well educated group of engineers, with their country behind them, to achieve.
Yeah, but that takes time, they are not up to German or Lucid engineering or safety.
 
I had to play with the Wi-Fi to make the Mobile Key work.
Can you elaborate on this? I thought the mobile key connected only over Bluetooth and so I’m confused about why WiFi would matter at all?

You are correct that the Mobile Key connects through BT. However, multiple owners have reported difficulties with making the Mobile Key work. Other owners and moderators suggest turning off WiFi (i.e., in your house/car), suggesting that might help the Mobile Key pair. I don't think it is a fix in any way. But it seems to make my Mobile Key pair better.

I can't explain why that's the case. You can do a search and look up this issue on this forum.
