I actually think that's fantastic; better to know about it and get it fixed than have it be intermittent!

You are lucky. I had been dealing with same problem on my screens and no one had been able to fix problem. My pilot and cockpit screens don’t work at all. I don’t even have a back up camera and my brake alert system doesn’t work either. I keep telling the technicians that this is something related to a camera and all they do is keep sending different kind of OTA updates which do absolutely nothing. Five months dealing with this issue and still the same

I cannot be the only one hitting bizarre alarm issues in 2.0.19 right?

I’m able to walk up to the car and open the trunk with the key fob in my pocket… and the alarm will go off after the car has already opened the trunk…

That’s a new one for me. What I’m getting after the latest update is faulty lights popping up in my screen while driving; brake lights, warning lights, etc.

I haven’t heard anyone having this one yet: been on 2.020 since last week and this morning the turn signal decided to stop making a sound as it blinks.

Ironically, I’m the one who complained about the sound it usually makes when I did my first test drive. Now used to it - anyone else have this bug show up?

Also getting some lag in boot up for the rear camera & surround view. Tidal has been a lot better (mostly in speed), but not without occasional “something went wrong” messages.

Got confirmation the heated seats automatically turn down from high to medium after 2 minutes. Requested a mid-west variance to allow no buns to be left behind.

The blinker problem has been a big thing for me as well. It’s not always muted though. I’ve found that the blinker volume seems to change to almost the lowest volume setting so you can barely hear it under strange conditions. I have some video of this happening recorded somewhere.

The cameras always seem to struggle right after boot when backing up for me. The essentially seem to stutter, lag, fail to low at this point. Not sure if the car is resource strained or bottlenecked when this happens, but something is going on there where after the core systems settle, cameras can be retriggerred and boot up fine.

Thanks to this forum for all the user experiences. My car has been at the detailer since Oct. 14 so it's likely that explains why the screens went out. I went to visit the car yesterday and found they had dug into the Wonderbox and disconnected something. They did not tell me they were going to do this. It's one of those "little bit of knowledge and huge balls" situations. I'm now thinking the car was doing a software update and that's why the screens blanked. So i'm concerned the downloads were interrupted / corrupted because the car was in their shop and they did not know Lucids do this. I'm going to pick it up later today...fingers crossed that they didn't make things terrible. Can't wait to get Luci home and snugged and let her update in peace. I'm hoping this is software and not bad connections/ lose wires as was noted in the big recall.

My takeaway is: I assumed nobody would go tearing into my car's circuitry ... especially a car wash employee. Now I know that every time you hand your Lucid over you have to make them swear an oath that they will not f with it, and that the car will turn itself on and make wierd noises and flash it's lights and door handles at you. Just ignore it. Had the car a month and haven't driven it...can you imagine what I felt when I saw the Wonderbox open ?

After reading this section of the owner's manual I see that what I am calling the wonderbox cover is not that at all. Lucid calls it the
" under hood rear apron "
and it looks like it's ok to open it for user serviceable parts, including one of the fuse boxes. That might explain whatever it was I was being told for why that under hood rear apron was off: to get to the fuse box. Still, this is all guesswork on my part.

Doesn't matter anyway. It's all spilt milk under the dam.

I apologise for misleading everyone because I don't know the terms. I should just shut the f up and wait patiently for the tech to arrive...but it's such a nice day and I'm dying to drive my car FOR THE FIRST TIME ... I so empathise with all the folk who have the car delivered and run into issues where they can't drive it for weeks and months. I hear you and I understand how impossible to be calm and rational in such an emotional state.

They need to have night mode and daytime mode. It was perfect in 1.2.xx.

So a reset of the car made both issues go away.

Yeah.

Does yours automagically adjust the general brightness for you during day/night? Mine does not.

1st test drive of 2.0.18 HA went perfectly. North bound 51 to east bound 101. Car handled the heavy traffic through the ramp very well.

Just read that lucid will be adding Sirius very soon. Thus, just hold your breath just a bit longer....
