When I changed my password the last time the PW generator included "^" (the little 'hut' above the number 6 key on a desktop kb). Password rule requires symbols but references no restrictions, implying it could be any symbol. To my surprise, this symbol is not offered on the keyboard ... at least, not on the US keyboard. After some trial and error, I found that only the German, Norwegian, and Swedish KBs offer this character - see attached. So many questions...

Just use something else....

The user is pointing out a missing character on the Lucid’s pilot panel keyboard. This means the user can’t type his password on the car, that he had set it up as his password on the computer. This seems like a real bug for Lucid Software Engineers, and it doesn’t need to be dismissed with a simple suggestion like “Just use something else.”

Touchy! Seems simple enough to change your password to not use that particular character using any of the other devices that you own.
The same issue was covered here: https://lucidowners.com/threads/ota-version-2-1-33.6858/post-163333

That is a workaround, not a solution. That does not make this bad integration of Lucid go away. I am sure Lucid has bigger fish to fry, but it does not mean that all smaller things go unreported.
@Bobby do not get me wrong - I deeply appreciate your efforts to help fellow owners on this forum, but the dismissiveness in your initial reply will only hurt the brand and community.

You're right. Lucid will probably go bankrupt, or at least see a huge drop in the stock value based on my reply. You're also correct that Lucid needs to focus their efforts on this vital issue right away. They should stop everything else they're doing and be sure to include the carat symbol on the English keyboard as their next OTA. I hope this makes it up the chain, for sake of the entire company.

Thank you!

Thanks for the heads up kismalac. This will be helpful for anyone running into a similar issue with the carat symbol or potentially any other symbol used in passwords.

Now that we are discussing the keyboard, I have a minor inconvenience that I hope Lucid can fix in any future update. If I have something in the cup holders, it's very difficult to type. If it was a floating keyboard that I can move around the screen, that will be perfect.

You guys are missing the Air's most serious keyboard UX mistake: on that numeric keypad you can enter your 5-digit PIN to drive the car after unlocking it via phone app - touch the first number, and the entire keypad graphic moves down 1/8 of an inch. It's enough to make me mis-enter the second digit if I'm not careful! :p
