What was the reply?Well it's official! Just ran across this post on X from Nick Twork!

Consider this: even if the June delivery timeline is accurate, we won’t see a significant influx of orders being fulfilled in the initial few months because they haven’t started a ramp-up, as evidenced by the absence of cars in showrooms. They couldn’t even get ONE production unit to the recent Rove event in LA! If it wasn’t for @Tesla2Lucid borrowing an owners vehicle there would have been no Gravity to show!Well it's official! We should have Gravity deliveries before August!!! (mark your calendar for July 31 delivery at 11:59pm) Lol.
Or, alternatively, one could also interpret this post from a glass half-empty standpoint as it could also mean they will be delayed beyond August...as in "no, it's not delayed until August--it's delayed until September!".![]()
“No”What was the reply?
I suppose that has a high probability of being correct, whatever it means.“No”
In Lucid’s eyes as long as they deliver 1 car by the end of September then they’re not lyingI suppose that has a high probability of being correct, whatever it means.
They just have to be careful not to deliver any Gravities in August. Before or after = OK.In Lucid’s eyes as long as they deliver 1 car by the end of September then they’re not lying
It’s possible they have to produce some sort of a result for all the billions they have invested…Somehow they will try to have to hit 20K units this year, I feel like the Saudi's are pulling a fast one and vacuuming up all the deliveries first.
Lucid has been very open about this since sometime in January. It is the difference between using the Wunderbox like the Air versus the rear motor like Gravity that allows a much higher sustained power for the DC to DC boost when the charging station voltage is below 900V.Did anyone know this?
@7:50
The Gravity will use its rear motor to help increase voltage when charging at station less than ideal?
Oops guess I just missed itLucid has been very open about this since sometime in January. It’s the only significant news released about the Gravity since orders opened. That and probably the Dream Edition.Oops guess I just missed it
Yep, because they don’t have to discount to move product in Saudi…they will earn more…makes sense.With present anti EV sentiment, inflation, tariffs…doesn’t make sense to prioritize USA if there us demand in Saudi/Middle EastSomehow they will try to have to hit 20K units this year, I feel like the Saudi's are pulling a fast one and vacuuming up all the deliveries first.
Not a big deal dude….who knows, maybe some supply chain or software issue that they want rectified. Imagine releasing Gravity with the same broken software that the Air had in 2021…you don’t want that repeated.Its just a car being delayed a few months….not like you are being asked to wait to cancer taken out. Chill out….Consider this: even if the June delivery timeline is accurate, we won’t see a significant influx of orders being fulfilled in the initial few months because they haven’t started a ramp-up, as evidenced by the absence of cars in showrooms. Therefore, will cars be delivered before August? Yes, but not in substantial quantities. Lucid has made a significant error, and it’s unlikely that they’ll produce a decent volume of vehicles until possibly October or November.
“We won’t make people wait for their orders,” my ass! From a communication standpoint they should’ve just said they f’d up and owned it rather than try and present it like everything is going to plan.
I’m not sure what the SEC defines as a misrepresentation, but that delivery event in December would have to be on the edge of what’s permitted and what’s not. That’s a dangerous game to play.
See fourth paragraph of this news release.Oops guess I just missed it
They also probably have good metrics on what will impact order cancellations.Not a big deal dude….who knows, maybe some supply chain or software issue that they want rectified. Yea it was that after 90 days from ordering there is a significant amount of cancellations...LOLThey also probably have good metrics on what will impact order cancellations.
