Gravity PPF Installation

We used colored PPF on our ID Buzz in Orlando. You can pay to have the door panels done but we didn't bother. Frankly, it doesn't bother me to see the original silver when I open the doors. At least not enough to deal with the extra cost. My Gravity was done with stealth PPF like my TRX was. I haven't seen it yet. Picking it up later today and will post pics. The Buzz looks great. What do you think of it?

We used STEK DynoPrism on top of AG. The contrast exists but in a “whoa, cool” kind of way rather than a “ugh” kind of way.

No matter what PPF you get, keep in mind they can cover the important parts with clear PPF.

Our installer used stealth PPF on the stealth parts, clear PPF on the sills and other glossy parts, and dynoprism on the outside.

Ah, so if I understand correctly though, you didn't do a really full color change - it's like, AG but sparkly on the outside, and just AG on the sills?

I'm thinking if I do like a midnight blue, then the AG will clash. If I had a black Gravity, then I could go with most any color and have at least a "whoa, cool" reax and not that "ugh."

Kinda. It's not really Green anymore. Hard to describe. But yes, not a full color change. I'm waiting for them to post photos/videos.

Stunning, @Steve11ca! AG looks great with the stealth treatment.

Are you going to put the DE bears back on?

Probably. Fortunately they have never been applied. I need to bring it back for the trim pieces once the template is done. They did custom wrap on the body panels. Once everything is applied, I will decide about the bears.

Cool. That worked out well with the bears not being applied previously.

Look like your installer did a fantastic job with the custom wrap.

My Air was also the first Lucid they did. Kinda fun to be the first both. These guys do great work.

Yeah, that's pretty neat. They must think you're a rockstar. Hope you're loving the new ride!

I've been thinking about DynoPrism since it was available. C'mon. We need some pictures.
