Electrify America charging free?

Was EA still free in 2024? When I took delivery (January 2024) I was offered a choice of either a credit on a Lucid charger or 1 year of EA.

When I got mine in Feb, it came with 2 months.

I also got a charger but it was due to customer service issues from my sales advisor being unresponsive.

This was kinda the same flaw with Ford Plug & Charge with their Blue Oval Network. No way to get the EA Pass+ discount.

I'm still super pissed they changed my plan on the fly like that. It actually is probably the most bitter taste ive had about Lucid since becoming an owner.
Let me see if I understand this. The "new" plan gives you more free charging than what was offered when you purchased your car and your are bitter at Lucid for this?????

No..

You arent understanding it.

Lucid gave me Unlimited for 2 years when I purchased and then just a week or two ago it now says Unlimited up until 1000kW

So yes, I am bitter for Lucid for that.

(Apologies: I noticed I said 2 months above. I meant 2 years and this forum limits when you can edit posts after a certain amount of time for some reason instead of just showing Edit history)

That makes a lot more sense. I am confident the Lucid will make good on the original 2 years then.

Can anyone with 2024 models, share their experience with cost of charging at EA stations?
I am leasing a 2024 Air Touring starting from April 24 and I have free charging in the app, have DC Fast chargers 5 times or so, once per month and its always free. Mine looks changed to 1 year with a 1000 KWh cap.

Just picked ours up on Sunday, it came with 1K credit towards an over priced charger AND a 1000KW or 12 months whichever comes first with EA.

I purchased a Lucid Air Touring in Dec 2023. I did not think that any free charging from electrify america was included. However to my suprise, doing my first DC charge at EA, the receipt showed $0. In my Lucid app chargin history it shows $0 for my first charge even though at the EA pump it showed me a rate for charging / kwh. I does not appear that my credit card has been charged either.
When I go into Lucid app and charging tab and service history - it does not say anything about the promotional period of charging. Any idea what is going on? I've read on the forums that Lucid has extended the free charging promo for 1 year on Touring purchases before end of 2023 but cannot see any confirmation on Lucid's official website.
You can check on the app how long it's free

Anyone have an issue with the free charging disappearing with the new App? With the new app, the EA free charging plan now says “inactive” but I have another 6 months free charging on my 3- years.

Yes. It seems to have happened to everyone with the 2.0 App. Not sure if it is a coincidence but my plug and charge did not work either. I called them and they "fixed" it but my app still shows "inactive" but I was able to plug and charge today with no issues

Mine says inactive
I have 11 months left
Went to test it
Works as usual and the charge session details are in the app as usual

Correct. Seems the new app hosed the “Plan Summary” but it should charge just fine. Mine was disassociated from my account. The reconnected it and it works fine now even though it says inactive.

Same here. I haven’t tried the EA since the app upgrade. Can you provide details on which number and department did you call ?

If you initiate the charge with the EA app, you will incur the costs. Regardless of what the Lucid app states as your EA plan status.

Lucid customer care text or call is +1 (888) 995-8243

Asking for a friend…For anyone who’s 1 year EA has actually expired, does it work now because the app says inactive for everyone? 😂

@TakeDuo - Thank you for the information. I'm just wondering how the transaction will be processed since I don't have a credit card on file in either the Lucid or EA app.

When you put your $500 down payment did you use a card? If so that is the info they will use. If you login to your Lucid profile on the website you should be able to me to see what card is on file.

I removed my credit card info from the Lucid Profile in the Payment Wallet section after taking delivery earlier this year. I'm unsure if they still have access to that information
