Well, I decided to test out EA today to ensure that charging worked on my new LUCID, and the experience left much to be desired. When I arrived at the charging station, in a Walmart parking lot, two of the chargers were broken, two were being used, one was iced And one was set up for a very strange parking situation where the cord wouldn’t reach. Fortunately, I only had to wait about 10 minutes. I then plugged in to the charger, a spinner came up on the screen, and then informed me there was a problem with charging unplug and retry. I unplugged, and then the charger told me to go to the Lucid app to choose the charging stall I was using, accept and start the charge. This is really a poor experience compared to Tesla superchargers. Hopefully this will improve over time, but my good experiences at Tesla superchargers are pretty much over I guess with EA. I also tried a Volta charger that was installed recently that has a CCS charger. The charger is only 50 kW, but this worked first try upon plugging in, although I did have to accept the charge in the Volta app. The volta charge was free for the first 30 minutes. It’s in a parking lot where an Amazon fresh will be opening, once the store opens, the chargers will be in use 100%
