Drive System Fault Megathread

Just out of curiosity, how to force the car to go deep sleep? Does exiting and locking it from key fob is sufficient to put in deep sleep or is there a time component too for which we need to wait for certain time period for deep sleep?
I was told 30 minutes previously.

For what it’s worth, you can see the status at all times with Home Assistant. You can watch it switch from Wink to Sleep so that you know when it is asleep.

Customer Care advised me that the car needs to be unoccupied (heavy items removed from seats if there are any), hazard lights off, locked, and bluetooth on your phone turned off (disables the mobile key during the power cycle). Once locked, stay at least 25 feet away from the car so it doesn't sense any keys and wait 10 minutes. We only ended up waiting 8 minutes and the car was able to power cycle and clear the faults.

Update on the automatic vehicle hold, brake system, and drive system fault that immobilzed the car for future reference for y'all if you ever run into the same issue:

The front and rear drive unit coolant pumps had internal faults and overheated. It did not appear that it was an original factory installation issue as nothing looked out of place and all wiring was done correctly with no leaks. Might have just been a faulty part. They replaced both and tested with no issues. Car's on a tow truck on the way back to me now and hope that's the last of it.

good info. I just got a call from Lucid service that my car was reporting a rear drive (RDU) coolant pump issue (failure to ramp up). they are going to come with a flatbed to pick it up (offered me a rental, they are out of loaners). Didn't get any notices in the car, but she said it hadn't failed just yet. How long did it take them to fix yours? Weird thing to me was they they need to do some diagnosis and told me it would be over a week to repair. can't tell whether they are short on resources or the problem is so complex that it takes that long to diagnose (and then order parts, etc.??).

They had the car for almost 2 weeks. The first week and a half it was mostly sitting while they were diagnosing and it took them about 2 days to replace the pumps and verify all was functioning properly. This was at the Irvine service location. Hope you get yours back sooner since they've already honed in on the pumps as the faulty part.

Thanks, great info. I was hoping it wasn't seals as that sounds more complex to fix. They said they'd send me updates each afternoon, I'll probably ask them given your info in hopes of getting it back sooner. Thanks for the info.
