Door handle malfunction on unlock

This started happening a couple of days ago. Customer service suggested a manual reset by "pulling the inside release beyond normal range", but that didn't help. Awaiting further instructions. (It's a 2023 Air Touring, purchased in December). Notice the paint scuffing on top of the handle: I suspect something is broken inside.
