12 Months In, and I'm Out.

Tesla is an OK car with stable software...not the most user friendly. Usability is bad with present Tesla- no stalks....get the picture now?
Hmmm...just ok? I had a squeaky control arm and Tesla replaced both with new design units. That's it, period, in 5-1/2 years of ownership. Stalks or no stalks are a user preference, but to say Tesla's usability is bad is just ludicrous.

Because you are paid…get a Tesla and know what Lucid should be…..10 years from now
Even as a Tesla owner I think that's a pretty crappy comment. I love driving my Tesla (That I bought before Elon went crazy.), but it's more of a utilitarian car than a luxury car. (But then it's also 1/2 the cost of a Lucid.)

I'm here because I'm considering an AT or AGT when I replace my '19 Tesla M3. That being said, I use FSD almost every time I drive, and it's pretty damned solid. And if you close your eyes, FSD will shut off, so no, you can't nap even if you try. Maybe Lucid will approach Tesla in software someday.
I just replaced my Tesla M3P with a 2025 Lucid Air GT. I agree with you about Tesla's current version of FSD...it has become quite solid. If this is a "must have," then Lucid is probably not the right move for you as it is meant to be more of a "driver's car." Dream Drive's Highway Assist is essentially akin to Tesla's Autopilot. There are not currently plans at Lucid to go beyond Level 3 Driver's Assist on highways.

All of this being said, in my first four days of owning my Air GT I have completely rediscovered my passion for driving. I have owned a long list of enthusiast cars over the years (including BMW's, Audi's, Ferraris, Alfa's) and originally bought my Tesla M3P as a "practical" enthusiast car and it gave me a lot of joy early on. However, the more and more autonomous features that were added, the less and less engaging it became as a driver's car. Elon firmly believes that humans should not be driving -- that the car should do it for us. That is definitely one approach and it has made him the richest man in the World, so it's not mine to judge, for sure.

Lucid's ethos is to build a car that is best in class for those who want to DRIVE the car and occasionally want some assistance on long, monotonous road trips, not to create a door-to-door autonomous driving experience. The build quality, ride and driving enjoyment from my new Air GT bears no resemblance to my Tesla M3P. To me it is superior in EVERY way (except autonomous driving)...I even significantly prefer the UI / software in the Lucid.

Go drive a model 3 with no stalks, dumbest idea in a car after the yoke steering wheel. I tried to get service for my model 3 due to battery warning, you can only text to a bot, no human to interact with- gives me appointment in 1 month- so I don’t use the car for a month? And no one to talk to at Tesla- just plain pathetic….

And the model 3, rattles like a rattlesnake….cheaply built…that’s why Tesla margins are so high, they cheap out, don’t care about safety.

Hey, but I have FSD which can kill you…..

Half the cost shows….squeak, squeak…..

Careful….. I’ve just had my 3rd service trying to get rid of annoying creaking. People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

I hear you, but it’s not even close to the same. Every time I ride in an M3 or MS it’s rattle city all around me.

The Air May have *a* rattle in the parcel shelf or a bit of creak in the steering wheel (mine has neither) but the whole car doesn’t sound like it’s groaning whenever it tries to move lol
