Cash Back on EV Charging

It is now 5% on any gas or EV charging.

No, it's 5% at Costco Gas stations and 4% everywhere else and for EV charging.

Hey, @DeaneG! Relative to a post you made elsewhere about a surprise EA charge you recently discovered... I make it a practice to set my credit card alerts to get a text notification of any 'card not present' or 'international' transaction, as well as any transactions over a certain dollar amount. With that, you would have known about that EA charge right away. These alerts have saved my bacon several times, including St. Patrick's Day a few years back when, while fast asleep in Arizona, 'I' was also in Long Island buying $600+ rounds at an Irish pub. Three of 'em before AmEx locked down the fraudulent card. Yikes!

I also have the same alert on my card but for reason I didn’t get it or I over looked it. I’m going to back check first!

Come to think of it... If you have a card on file, I don't think the alert system considers this a 'card not present' transaction. I suppose that may vary by card company, but I have my Lucid account set up with my Chase Freedom card. (BTW, I have my Lucid account set to that card because the points earned on service is better, and I never incur idle fees. If I were to activate the Lucid Charging Plan upgrade, I would use my Costco card.)
