10 days and I'm out.

Surprised you didn't go the Taycan route. The Taycan to me was the most impressive handling EV "sporty" sedan that I test drove in recent times. There might be something similar like it now but to me it was as sporty of a drive as you can find. The downside with it was just the range but the MY 2025 has improved that a bit as well.

Good luck with the i4 - hope it works out for you!
The big downside on the Taycan is the pricing - there are plenty of compromises for sure, but the price is crazy.

True - I will say though it has depreciated pretty quick like a lot of EVs so a low mileage used isn't a bad option. It makes it more appealing at least.

Strange, I have the exact opposite opinion between our i-4 and Air Pure. The Pure is much quicker off the line. I also feel like it is much better behaved in twisties, especially high-speed lateral transition body control. Don't get me wrong, I like them both, but if I were taking one to the track it would definitely be the Lucid. Maybe the difference is the weight savings in the Pure vs AGT?

At the end of the day, in the I4 I am always reminded that it was an ICE vehicle converted to an EV unlike the Air which was designed from the ground-up as an EV. Things like the (lack of) frunk and the center driveline hump in the rear passenger area.
I'm not sure how you can say the Pure is quicker. My take is that in comfort mode the i-4 is faster. In sport or sport plus mode I don't think there is any comparison. The i-4 is a rocket. Which i-4 are you comparing it to, the i-35, the i-45 or the i-M50. Car and Driver in some previous issue also backs up the case the i-4M50 is faster off the line. As I said each has its advantages and disadvantages. In the i-4M50 the wiper controls are on the stalk and you have various settings to control the speed and they work as they should. In the AGT, the intermittent wipers are a disaster and have a mind of their own whether they will decide to wipe or not. The vents in the i-4 can be directed at your face in 90 degree+ temperatures. In my AGT, the lip of the dash prevents you from doing that effectively. Yes the AGT is roomier and has better range and is better looking. But the i-4 is a hatchback and is pretty good for storage, though it does lack a frunk. My take is that if you have frequent passengers in the back seat, go for the Air. If you have infrequent passengers in the back seat I would go for the 1-4. The price of the i4-M50 is also a bargain compared to the price of an AGT. But again, I like both choices and to each his own.

went from a taycan to a lucid, the taycan is a good car, just too big and way too costly. the I4 is half the price, just as much fun.

I also prefer a smaller vehicle. I was on the waiting list for a couple of years for a Pure when the Genesis GV60 Performance popped up in the Arizona market. It checked as many boxes for me as the Lucid, just some different ones. I had three essential requirements: performance, luxury, small size. So the GV60P gives me those three requirements as well as a HUD.

If I am still in the market for a car in a couple of years (at my age I may not be) I am hopeful that the Lucid midsized will meet those criteria. I am a little concerned that it looks like Lucid will offer models that are for performance or for luxury but not both in one vehicle. I am hoping that there will be options to put them together.

The i-4 also offers HUD as an option which the Lucid so far does not. And the i-4 offers both summer tires and all season tires in both 19 and 20 inch sizes, while Lucid only offers all season in the 19".

I do have the 19" wheels but I am clueless about which tires it has, the sticker is in the car I need to check it
