I agree. I understand that there may not be enough Lucids to have Lucid loaners. I can also understand using a car rental company. But what I would expect is that either way, I would immediately get a vehicle that Lucid owns or is renting for me and one that is roughly equivalent to the Lucid, even if it is an ICE vehicle. Given that, most folks will not complain about the length of service, etc.
My BMW dealer always had a loaner for me. During the pandemic, when there was a car shortage, at one time they had an arrangement with Hertz. But it was seamless. I went to the same loaner counter, did the same paperwork with the same dealer personnel, and left. When I returned the Cadillac it was the simple reverse, drop off the car, leave the keys, get my paperwork and leave.
