DMV Lucid Owners

Starting this new thread for the DMV area as I am happily seeing many Lucids on the road in around the DC Metro area.

Would be happy to plan a March timeframe meet-up/drive and am open to any suggestions on scenic routes/destinations. Skyline in VA comes to mind. Maybe a winery visit?

I’m in! Retired now so flexible on date and place. It would be great to meet other owners!

I am in. Spring might be a better time weather wise. I am in MD open to meet in VA or some place in middle considering Delaware folks might join

For those nearby, we could begin at Katie’s Cars and Coffee? Would be fun to see a ton of Lucids there.

Katie’s Cars and Coffee is in Great Falls on Saturdays from 6-9 am. When the weather is nice it fills up quickly. If I go it’s usually around 8 am or later when the early shift is clearing out. For the later risers Cars and Cigars in Ashburn is a great event run once a month on a Saturday afternoon at different locations. Would be fun to show up in numbers.

DC is about a bit over 2 hours from me. I probably could join too depending on dates.

It'd be awesome if they could show up with a Sapphire. I seem to recall they were strictly not allowed to drive any Sapphires arriving to the SC.

Ashburn/Leesburg home but will gladly drive this beauty anywhere assuming a spicy bloody mary is involved.

For VA owners, how do we get state inspection done? Just like regular ICE car, take it to a place where they do inspections?

The Tysons SC delivered mine with a VA inspection sticker on it already. I'm assuming they will check the box and update the sticker again when I take it in for the 1-year service.

Yes, took mine in to a local shop that does inspections.

Bumping this thread to throw out some dates for us to consider - any preference among Saturdays in March (in the hopes that the weather is more favorable) for a meetup/rally point in the DMV area? Perhaps at Katie's Coffee in Great Falls or somewhere else with convenient access.

Would be very weather dependent.

Am proposing March 9 or March 23.

At this point, either of those dates work for me. I'm pretty flexible given I live about ten minutes from Katie's. I will say that 3/23 is the start of Spring Break for Fairfax County Public Schools so that could impact overall attendance at Cars and Coffee.
