Wind noise

I don’t think I’m imagining it - when I drive the car first thing in the morning, or when the rubber seals are cold, the wind noise above my left ear is more pronounced. When I’ve been driving the car under the sun for a little while, the wind noise dimishes to a faint whisper, only becoming pronounced again when I fly at speeds approaching 90 miles per hour and beyond. I presume the rubber seals have warmed up and expanded by then.

@Bobby recommended a fix that works temporarily. Rubbing all the seals with this German-made lubricant that comes in a small plastic bottle with a sponge tip. It does seem to help, but again, the fix is temporary. You have to reapply the lubricant after every time you wash the car.

I have this too. In the winter I also find cold air leaking when the seal is cold. When I leave my warmer garage the window is fine. After I leave my car outside all day at work in the 20's Fahrenheit and then drive home the top left corner of the drivers window leaks cold air. Almost certainly the same reason your wind noise. I may try this lubricant.

Yes, I hear it above my left ear and also in the upper window channel near the mirror. If I hold my hand near those spots, it's lessened. I have done decibel tests and its "acceptable" under the service protocol with Lucid around 44 to 55 decibels, which is considered normal for an ICE car. My car comes in at 44-46, so I understand them not being interested in this issue, however it's becoming less acceptable to me, and I will solve it. I have driven two loaners, one had no noise, the other GT had a window air leak on the left passenger side as well as a few dents, LOL.

The door calibration is a tricky thing with both Rivian's and Lucid, if they are off by a few microns it can cause this as well as the trim that is above the door and the ditch rails for the roof can do a tunneling effect if not secured properly with the claws. I will compliment Lucid for doing a great job on keeping road noise from the bottom of the car at a minimum, it's barely heard.
I have decided to try one more adjustment on the door with my certified non-Lucid company, they are learning too and I will report if it works.
Thanks for the reply. I've done the Gummi stick, no real improvement and I have seen YouTube MacGyver's using frost king weather stripping, but again if you paid this much for a premium luxury sedan, you should not have to do that.

Funny, this is pretty much the exact opposite of my thinking. I have a tendency to find ways to improve things, even expensive things, to meet my personal needs. “Should” they have made it quieter, sure. Did they, no. So complaining about it doesn’t solve it.

Technician has worked on my car few times. I still have the wind noice I decided to ignore it and I believe they need to address the design

The wind noise at 100mph is not what I expected, LOL... Drive it like you stole it, I feeling like I'm driving a bank vault in this car.
