Gravity Delivery Discussion

I bet you’re fun at parties
Oh for sure! No doubts, lol. In all good fun.

I think it'll be an event to remember. Good on Lucid for putting together something to keep us so intently glued to our screens. Thirsty for more.

Best to close the discussion so that people stop following. Still waiting to hear back from the people wanting me to upgrade. Still waiting to purchase what I ordered in November. I so don't want to be right, but I fear this vehicle will never be produced. Sell/licensel the innards to those with a track record of producing vehicles. There is a great technology needed by users. Lucid just cannot produce the entire product. To many in this group, put down your kool-aid cups and face the reality. Seriously, the industry needs the technology. Let those with experience bring the full product to the market. I really want a 450+ mile EV. I don't need bells and whistles.

Just curious - why would mods close a thread that is obviously so popular? we don't have a lot of info to go on, and I guess maybe it's veered off topic, but isn't engagement good?
The semblance of organization still needs a presence on the forum.

Don’t have to put any cool aid cups. Lucid has proven itself in many ways. It’s only that they delayed the gravity from getting into the hands of the people who trusted it. That’s the only complaint from many. Not the quality nor the trust.
Technology is great in many ways but not for the people who enjoy things bring it. Lucid has air which you enjoy when you drive it with technology enough to enjoy the ride. Baseline for a car enthusiast.
Yes many are waiting to enjoy what they ordered in November. The frustration is about the delivery not about the core which is what lucid has already proved with its beautiful air.
We might have problems with the delivery of the promises made ,but we love the products from lucid. If you have a valid point beyond it please do feel free to put forward.
Hope you are not from the sor’ow group to undermine American innovation and technology.

The huge launch event they are holding in NYC for the vehicle you think they are not producing should be rather interesting!

Not sure where this group wants this submitted, so I will do it here. I canceled my order today so you can remove me from this group and from the reservation tracker.

Mmmm, didn’t you see the review, best handling sedan, and now the best handling SUV, only Porsche could beat them. But Lucid has more space and better range. And you think they should just give it up because you can’t wait a few months. Why do you think Saudi built a factory in Saudi?

It’s a golf cart disguised as a Gravity with a shell over it 😂

I've had enough experience with crap built by GM (particularly a 1998 Corvette), Mercedes (an SL55 AMG that plagued with problems second only to the Corvette), Jaguar (two transmissions and a dashboard assembly in the first year), Audi (an S6 that I dumped in less than a year due to its not holding a battery charge), Tesla (a 2021 Model S Plaid that was delivered with more problems than our early-production Air Dream Edition), etc., to have absolutely no interest in seeing anyone else build the Gravity or bring Lucid technology to market. Then there are the software and battery problems that have plagued EVs from Chevrolet, Volkswagen, Kia, Hyundai, Porsche, et al.

I wish it were clearer what is causing Gravity deliveries to take so long to ramp, but based on my experience with our Air, I'm pretty sure it relates to Lucid's being determined to get the product right.

I'll take another cup of that Lucid Kool-Aid any day.

Best decision for all concerned, I'm sure.
