That’s not being smart! Lucid does not have first mover advantage. Why don’t you become CEO and run the company? Everyone thinks they know !!!!And crazy thing is, they were smart. Ended up with the #1 selling vehicle in the world. I do remember all the horror stories tho. I thought the FWDs would bankrupt Tesla. What did I know.
Give them a break dude! Why the constant barrage on Lucid? This is getting really annoying and OLD!The thing is, Lucid really doesn't have to come clean. No one in the media is really paying a bit of attention to them. I haven't seen one article questioning why the Gravity is not being produced yet. And I'm not sure that's a good thing. Will anyone even notice when it does eventually start production?
Probably more than 40.I actually missed an important word in that tweet above, but caught it when I listened to the interim CEO at the event.
He said they are NEARLY finished building all the cars for the studios. That means they haven't built 40 yet.
Edit to add that as long as this isn't another dog and pony show, and deliveries start in earnest at the end of April, I'm a happy camper. In fact, they can skip the studios!
Yes I need to see in the Studios for test drives a couple combos, fully Loaded Gravity GT, base Gravity on small wheels and no dynamic pack, combo of colors and stealth and platinum. They might need/want more than one gravity per studio for people to sit in and one for test drive. Otherwise, while it's on a test drive, nothing for anyone else to see.

I guarantee you that you will not be disappointed , even if you buy without test driving.I definitely don't want them to skip the studios! Although I have put in my order for a Gravity GT, I'm definitely not closing the deal without a chance to test drive. I'm excited from everything I've read, but I'm not spending $100K+ on a vehicle without having a chance to see it in person first. I suspect there are a lot of orders placed by people who share my attitude.
I’ve actually gone on very few test drives for cars I bought. Often because I was getting a car where that simply wasn’t an option, but also because I knew enough to not need one. BMW 1M, Porsche GT4, GT3 Touring, etc. And while driving some of these cars did turn out differently than I’d expected (I didn’t love the GT4) there’s no chance I’d have been able to figure that out on a test drive. I’d put the Gravity in that class, I know enough that I don’t need one. I’d get one with just a fit check based on reviews of particular journalists I trust (ie Jason Cammisa). That said if offered I’ll take a test drive as soon as one’s available.I guarantee you that you will not be disappointed , even if you buy without test driving.
Aw, feeling the love!If it wasn’t for @Tesla2Lucid borrowing an owners vehicle there would have been no Gravity to show!
100% concur! From a communication standpoint they should’ve just said they f’d up and owned it rather than try and present it like everything is going to plan.
Great shot! Hotel room with a Lucid/lucid view!
