The problem isn't a lack of FaceID. It is that the app doesn't properly fill in the username/password when you use autofill on iOS

This screen has been around a while. I think the "Access Denied [7]" message was a bug.

LastPass can fill it in but it does take more clicks. FaceID should be there...

It needs to connect to the car in order to display SOC..won’t be able to disable that.

Or the car could intermittently use its internet connection to send SOC info etc to the cloud then your phone is connecting to the cloud to get the info and not needing to constantly wake the car up

That would require a whole different sub section of the app or even an entirely new app to work. The whole point of the app is to be used as a mobile key, and control functions of the car - I.e. to wake it up to perform those functions..

A sentry or Security setting like my Tesla has where you can retrieve video of people near your car or vandals. Someone intentionally dented the side of my car three times. It looked like the car was kicked. I think I know who it was but it would be nice if I could see what happened and prove it.
