The one Orlando Bloom got was black. Others who got the call their Grand Tourings left the factory were red reservers.

Lol. It seems it was a good smiley face. I was just contacted this morning that my car will be shipping soon!
I've got to admin I'm a little bummed that I ended up bumped to a later batch with a May 21 reservation. I'm sure it will all be worth when they finally get around to the December batch. Below is the reply I got when I asked about it.
Thank you for bringing this up and for being a Lucid customer. I have noticed this too and would like to provide some additional context.
In a perfect world, reservation date and order date are the sole factors that determine sequencing. However, this is not the case. While Order Date is an important factor, there are a number of factors that determine batching and order sequencing.
It’s also worth noting that every vehicle truly takes its own journey through manufacturing. Just because one has entered production first does not mean it will be completed first. Batching of orders, material constraints, truck availability are of the many factors that can impact when an order is confirmed for production.
Moreover, there is a lot of shuffling that can happen even after the orders have been sequenced or have started production.
These are also some of the reasons why we don’t provide specific delivery dates. However Steve, what I will do is notify you immediately when your GT has entered production. I will provide you your VIN, let you know when it has completed, and when it is ready to be shipped. Throughout the process I will ensure you are informed.

Shipping soon or "shipping in the coming days"?
They actually said both, but the email says in the coming days. I am hoping that the fact that they requested confirmation of registration info on a Sunday morning means it will be shipping shortly, though I may be overly optimistic on that front.

Yeah I'm sure you will see it soon. I just was curious if they are still using "in the coming days" as part of the script.
The Dynamite and Scottsdale area appears to be infested with Lucid Airheads. I am there too. All we need is a few more and we'll have enough for our own Lucid Cars and Coffee.

For folks in CA, how long does it take to get your actual license plates after you have taken delivery of your Lucid?
I think it was 2-3weeks?
can you remind me of the link to the company you used for your front license plate (I seem to remember it was CA DMV approved)
I’m only 2 hours away in San Diego and patiently waiting for my Grey GT which I confirmed in November.

Good morning folks,
I got my final Purchase Agreement and You're Invited to Pay late last night! So I am assuming for the moment that my car is iat the Scottsdale Service Center. My plan is after I speak to my DA and confirm it's in Scottsdale and actually delivery date I will send the funds. For all the North Scottsdale folks stay tuned for the reveal!
