That didn’t work for me, but after 25 minutes EA cremate started it.I believe in this case, you hit the lighting bolt on Lucid's phone app, and start charging from there.

Let's hope we have few EA cremates going forward. That didn’t work for me, but after 25 minutes EA cremate started it.
Lol, who needs spell check.Let's hope we have few EA cremates going forward.
I would just pay. I think you can submit a request for repayment. My time is worth more than the cost to charge being stuck on the phone. That didn’t work for me, but after 25 minutes EA cremate started it.

If you get past the connection to the EA payment window, open the Lucid app. Tap the charge button on the app.it will ask for the charger number. Scroll down to charger number located at the top of the EA charger. Select to initiate charging. You have to do this until EA Update their chargers or software to make plug and charge work with Lucid.I’m curious, when I get to an EA station and it asks for a card, does Lucid expect me to call EAcustomer support and spend 1/2 hour+ getting them to remote start a charge? Or, am I expected to put in a credit and send Lucid the bill for reimbursement? EA/Lucid charging rage is a real thing.

For the first time, I saw this today on the Lucid app. It even gave me the option to input the charger number as you described, but unfortunately it threw off an error and wouldn’t charge until EA initiated the charge. If you get past the connection to the EA payment window, open the Lucid app. Tap the charge button on the app.it will ask for the charger number. That would be an issue with the charger then. This is the backup method for charging when “plug and charge” doesn’t work, and I’ve never had it fail. It’s also only been necessary maybe 10-20% of the time.I think you are right. My

If I had even half the issues with EA chargers that owners on this forum have mentioned, I would have cremated a few chargers too. That didn’t work for me, but after 25 minutes EA cremate started it.
If you got a charge started through some combination of actions on your own without calling EA, you did pretty well.....and then informed me there was a problem with charging unplug and retry. I unplugged, and then the charger told me to go to the Lucid app to choose the charging stall I was using, accept and start the charge. This is really a poor experience compared to Tesla superchargers. Hopefully this will improve over time, but my good experiences at Tesla superchargers are pretty much over I guess with EA....
If Merc is unhappy with EA, they will likely not be any happier with ChargePoint. I've talked with a number of property managers here who deployed ChargePoint at their facilities, and they say working with them has been a nightmare. It's interesting that Mercedes partnered with ChargePoint to deploy it's network. Given they were giving away free EA charging etc. i'm wondering if the partnership went sour with how pathetic the EA network is. Maybe we should all petition Lucid to dump EA and move to ChargePoint or EVGo. They've all given EA money to offer the free charging but clearly Mercedes has come to the realization to cut their losses and move in another direction.
The fact that EA remains completely silent with all the negative publicity of late is telling in itself. Seems like they really don't give a damn and are just doing what the government forced them to do which was deploy a network. Nothing more, nothing less
Is there another type or newer charger other than the BTC ones?Looks like EA is pulling out the NEW BTC chargers at numerous locations. What a disaster!
The one time I tried our local EA charger it worked with plug and play. Here are pics to identify the various EA charger types ….Is there another type or newer charger other than the BTC ones?
I think the new chargers look the same but are made by BTC and possible Signet. The issue is that these chargers were praised by EA as the “we’ve learnt from our mistakes” and not even months after deploying them it looks like they’re potentially being scrapped. Is there another type or newer charger other than the BTC ones?
The new BTC chargers are the single plug ones.
So this is the newer BTC unit? The new BTC chargers are the single plug ones.
