Now Lucid is telling me Friday, trying to arrange a driver. Have you ever driven between LA and Vegas anytime near New Year's? I don't think seeing my Lucid in 2022 is in the cards.

One way u haul? Van life it for a few days and drive home? You won't stand out at all in CA doing that.

I will take delivery of my Lucid PURE on Friday in the sf Bay Area! I had to spec it with dreamdrive in blue with the upgraded sound system and Alcântara headliner. I think I’m one of the first people to get the car. I got invited to an event in Arizona to tour the factor and take delivery there but they canceled it.

Having picked up my car yesterday in Millbrae, i wonder how they are going to fit much of an event in there, that center is triple parked with air's and its spilling into the street. It's like lucid Valet lot.

Maybe some of them have been picked up...

Deliveries are hot and heavy. Needed to get an alignment and suspension check after a pothole shredded my tire. Since it is not urgent, Costa Mesa can take me well After the new year. Too many cars to deliver right Now.

So my Touring arrived at the delivery center 6 days ago, I know it was over Christmas, but wouldn't you expect Lucid to reach out and at least set up a delivery time and date by now? Or do they expect me to drop everything at a days notice? I'm sure they are aware their customers work for a living and pay for their car. At least send out an update!!! I've been very patient so far but this is NOT the way to sell a 100k plus luxury car. Hope Lucid customer service takes note and improves.

DA called me this morning. Car is in the detailing bin in Chicago and should be on a truck to Tyson's this afternoon. Expected arrival there tomorrow afternoon with delivery scheduled for Friday 12/30 at Tyson's. My dashboard finally changed from "In Production" to "Preparing for Delivery" today. Has taken a bit longer than expected after VIN was assigned 12/3 but it looks like EOY delivery is happening. Stoked!

I just got a call again a few minutes ago and looks like the car is further delayed in transit and won’t reach until sometime tomorrow and now rescheduled to Friday. The car was originally shipped from Chicago on Monday according to my DA. The wait continues ……

Finally picked up my car at Dallas/Plano studios. Process was smooth. Got a Lyft ride from home to studio.

We are all cutting it close. My DA sent me a photo of my car with black nuts and silver cap. I told them to remove the aero covers and put them in the frunk. It’s good to see the car but still waiting for it to be shipped to short hills.

3 days from Chicago to Short Hills sounds really unusual. I feel bad for the DA's and I wish they are provided with some additional capabilities to track the vehicles and provide better timelines.

Oh no. My original schedule was for today, then rescheduled for tomorrow(Thursday). I haven’t received any call yet to reschedule. It’s getting annoying now, and I already took off from work today, then tomorrow. It now seems like I might have to take off for Friday too.

I was in Short Hills yesterday. I so 3 - 4 vehicles that had the temp plates on, but they looked like it has been there for a while as the cars were covered in dust. I saw CS/SC and ZR/SC.
Anyways, I just got off the finance department after discussing the numbers. Those are absurd... Seems like I would be overpaying them 45k extra unless I didn't do my math correctly...

You can ask your DA to do it. But my car ended up being delivered without them, because they seem to be in short supply.

I was told Lucid will be adding a package to their shop soon, so anyone can order them at any time.

So now I’ll be checking that page every day.

On the bright side, looks like the all-weather mats can be ordered for GTs again. Shipping in a few weeks. No word on the Touring / Pure version yet.

I just took delivery this morning. The Rocklin service manager brought it over to my house, I took it for a quick spin, and now I’m on my way out of town for 4 weeks. Boo. What a car, though! I can’t wait to come back and set everything up.
