Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Touring

I just took delivery this morning. The Rocklin service manager brought it over to my house, I took it for a quick spin, and now I’m on my way out of town for 4 weeks.
I can volunteer to drive it for you while you're gone, just to work the quirks out and keep the wheels from getting a flat spot. And I can keep you updated on the grin factor, since you won't be able to experience it directly. Oh, no, I wouldn't dream of charging you to do that, my pleasure!

Well I'm happy to say my DA Faraz has worked his magic! On Monday he contacted me to let me know my Black / Tahoe had finally completed Production. Today he let me know our AT has made it to Houston and is in line for PDI and Detailing. We were in Houston for the holiday and stopped by the Houston Delivery Center as a "dry run" for our eventual pick-up and orientation. While they were closed, they had 40+ GTs and ATs in their outside parking lot. Don't know how many may have been inside. But I do know they now have one more in queue, mine! EOY delivery may actually happen! Best of luck to everyone in the final push for good weather and fast PDI!

I asked my DA at Tysons to replace nut and cover, answer is , no they don’t have service center to do it.Bummer, at least I am getting vehicle

I got a call from my DA, and he said my schedule for tomorrow is still good. They are sending Lyft black service to pick me up from my home.

Did anyone take delivery from Short hill, NJ? I was just wondering about what to expect and things to check.

I’m scheduled for delivery at Tyson’s on Friday. I spoke with my DA about getting black lug nuts and silver wheel caps. He said he would try to get them installed while the car is in Chicago. If not he would order them for me.
I also asked him if a tire repair kit would come free since this is a requirement in Maryland. He told me he would look into it but had never heard about this being free. Do the Tyson’s people know about this?

Just got a call from the local studio that my car is expected to arrive in Denver Saturday about 3pm with plans to take delivery later that afternoon. Cutting it close! Hopefully no delays with transport…expecting snow in Colorado tonight….🤞

Yes, my SA (Vinny) at Tysons knew about this because I asked him when he was showing me my car at delivery. He said Md is one of the only states that require them to supply with vehicle.

Delivery truck was here at 9:30am this morning despite having traveled 3 hours...nice surprise!

Scotchguarded the Santa Cruz carpets, put down some winter mats and Tire Rack Mobile stopped by to put on the 20" all season tires. Ready to roll!

Awesome. Congrats. Hopefully the snow will be melted a bit by the time Saturday rolls around.

Congratulations, I got the same combination (except wheels) and picked up today as well. Drove 30 miles or so from downtown to Naperville. Goose Island crew is great. I also have to get lot of things setup and probably learn. Is there a way to turn off two spotlights behind? Somehow in night it kept on and I did not find a way to turn off. I tried to press on light and around, but it seems there is no switch to turn off. Maybe I am missing something, but as soon as I locked the car all the lights including back lights inside near hood got turned off.

Ok, which one of you took the Friday 9am and 10am delivery slots at Short Hills? 😝 Earliest I could get was 11.

I picked up my car yesterday (12-27) at Goose Island. Drove it home today. Looks and runs beautiful. I hope many more are delivered soon!

Pete

There is light switch in front which seems to be controlling all three spot lights.
