“Production“ in Q4 or December would mean deliveries in Q2 2023, or 5 months after production starts. That seems reasonable.
Q4 could be December. Could also mean October.

If they start in October, that would mean deliveries as early as February. Just saying…

Not starting until December for Touring would mean fewer than 5,000 vehicles fully produced this year. I’m having a hard time believing that they are going to announce dropping their estimates that far. But we’ll see in a few weeks, I guess. When is the next earning’s call?

late August for the Q2. They have waited until the last date required by law.

Reserved Cosmo Silver, Mojave interior June 1, 2022.😊

Oh. That’s not good.
They have no choice, they overestimated the delivery numbers by a factor of 5. Now they are stuck and not sure who is guiding them to not own up to the truth. Don’t know about deliveries BUT the Stock will drop like a rock. Rawlinson thinks that if he can keep fudging perhaps byDecember he could show them making maybe 1K cars a month to get some break. Let’s hope so for the sake of us poor Baggies.

They need to get to 30-40 cars per day. Right now it appears that they are managing 10-15. They **should** be able to ramp up to that IF they solved their supply chain issues. They stated during the Q1 earnings call that they expected those issues to be resolved in June. So…… they should be ramping in July (Now). Time will tell if they can push out more GT deliveries. You will probably be able to tell by forum responses if that is happening.

EDIT: For reference, max production at that site is 80-85 per day. To reach 12-14k, they will need to run at about 60 per day for the second half of the year.

I almost confirmed my Fisker Ocean today but then figured they will undoubtedly face start up production issues which may push my delivery of that car even further back than what my Lucid would be (despite not yet confirming).

$5k non-refundable deposit? No way I'd buy into that given Fisker's sketchy history...

They just sent an email to Pure reservation holders also affirming a Q4 production date for Pure.
I didn’t get an email concerning Q4 and I am a Pure reservation holder.

It’s funny, I was showing my gf the Ocean One as an option for her next car, saw the $5k non-refundable deposit and immediately passed. We have a reservation for the Lotus Eletre which is also a $5k deposit, but Lotus told me it was illegal to make it non-refundable.

I didn't get one for my Touring res, either. Which makes me suspicious that this is "official."

Like I said, take everything from a single DA or SA with a grain of salt.

Confirmation Date, Exterior/Interior Color, and VIN/Delivery dates i

Confirmation 3/31/22
Exterior Stellar White
Interior Mojave
Vin 7/5/22
delivery soon I hope

Sorry forgot to mention this is for socal.
I think how liberal they are on allowing test drives depends on the location. If there are few GT reservation holders needing one now, they are letting anyone take a spin.

Exactly. The word seems to be slowly getting around to every region, but that did lead me to wonder the same thing. I was offered a test drive as a Touring reservation holder "starting on July 1" as far back as mid-June here in CO. Maybe they check how many GT orders are in an area, and then factor in how many of those folks have already had a test drive? And then if there are enough empty slots, go ahead and let in the lowly Touring folks? Who knows?

The fact that some Pure reservation holders are also getting offered test drives further suggests to me that there just aren't that many of us Touring folks.

My brother who had no reservation was able to get a test drive in San Diego within 3 hours after calling the studio.

Which location? Fashion Island told me that test drives for Tourings wouldn't be happening until the fall, but that was a few months back.

This also may be a opportunity to get more people behind the wheel so they can further evangelize the vehicle to friends, family and others. Right now, I've only sat in one, if I test drove it, I would have lots more to tell someone if they asked ... assuming the test drive went well!

Had my test drive in a GT yesterday in Short Hills NJ. The car drove fantastic on 19" wheels and cemented my decision to confirm my reservation as soon as they will take my order.

The sales advisor - who was quite open about how buggy the demo car's software was - could not get sound out of Tidal or Spotify (the display showed music was playing) until switching to FM radio and back. I didn't look at the firmware version.

As per the same sales advisor, deliveries are now really ramping up, although he didn't know specific numbers.
