Lucid AT with 19s!
Here in DFW northern suburbs. Huge pothole got my front-left tire blown out and rear-left tire with a bulge. I had it towed to my home last night. Getting it towed to Discount tire today for replacing tires.
I have tire hazard warranty from Discount tire. The tires have 22k miles on them. What should I expect from Discount tire? First time getting tire service from them.

Since you have the cert, the new tire will be free unless it is nearly worn out… You’ll have to look at the terms of the agreement. I had a similar thing happen, and they gave me zero problems.

It will cost you $0 for the new tire provided it was a road hazard issue. The bubble for sure.

You will need to buy new certs for the new tires though; they don’t transfer.

Update:
Discount tire replaced the two tires free of cost. They recommended that I replace the other two as well. Given it’s at 23k miles already, I might have to replace them anyway in a few months. So ended up getting all 4 tires and new certificates for all of them.
Went with Pirelli P Zero AS PLUS 3 NCS ELECT. No idea what that means but the OEM tires were Pirelli P ZERO AS PLUS as well, so I thought they were either same or close. Chose these tires but they fit and were in stock same day. Need the car to be driveable by EOD.
Costed ~$900

$900 for four new tires and certs is *insanely* cheap. Just goes to show why it’s worth getting those certs!

Might want to check your alignment sooner rather than later...
Sounds like the car is coming up on its two year service, they do that as a part of it if necessary.

Also make sure you didn't have a bent rim.
One of the wheels had a bent rim! It is not the one with blow out or the bulge. So it's probably another pothole.
I reached out to Lucid if I can get one wheel replaced. Waiting to hear from them.

You are right. I should be hitting 24k in another 1-2 months so worth it to get wheel replaced along with alignment. I don't think alignment can be done with mobile service?

Just learnt from the Lucid Service that replacing one of the wheels costs ~$700 (wheel alone costs $550 plus tax).
Also, the nearest place Lucid can perform wheel alignment is Houston SC which is 4 hours away  DFW as metroplex has the highest number of Lucid Owners and it deserves to have its own Service Center since yesterday.
Fortunately, Lucid partnered body shops or dealerships with Hunter alignment machines can perform alignment on the Lucid.

You can potentially get a bent wheel repaired at a local shop. And yeah, the local America’s Tire won’t do alignments here either because they don’t have the equipment. Luckily Lucid does and is nearby here in CA

Ever since my tires were installed, the tire pressure sign has stayed on. The pilot panel does not show tire pressure until I have driven atleast 10 miles. Even then, tire pressure from only 3 tires is shown. Should I go back to discount tire? 😥
