Good morning all. Just a silly question that someone here probably knows the answer to. Inside the frunk, there are a bunch of rubber grommets in the carpeting. They appear to be spaced out throughout the frunk. I'm curious if anyone knows their function(s). They could be simply to hold the carpeting to the frame? Maybe they are rubber to protect the contents of the frunk from sharp edges? Are the possibly for ventilation/drainage if water gets in there? 🤔

Cargo nets that haven’t been produced yet but there was a pic of a prototype in a frunk.
