Range Performance SF to LA

I only have 1,000 miles on my gt and I absolutely love the car. I am, however, quite concerned about the range I am getting. I drive between New York City and my vacation house on a weekly basis. The distance one way is 100 miles. This week was the first time I tried the round-trip without charging. I drove 250 miles since my last charge (the extra 50 miles was an extra trip) and almost didn't make it to my house. The car shows only 28 miles of range remaining. Where did the extra 140 odd miles go? This was highway driving at around 73 miles per hour. Does using the heated seats or having the massage seats on use a ton of electricity? If so, I wish there was a notification in the car telling me how much the range will degrade if I use a given feature.
Isn't it super cold? See this graph

I love this. It explains why I get so much more range when I drive to LA (always in the morning) and get much less range going back to PA (always in the afternoon.). Thanks
Also there's generally a north wind along California for most of the year. Cyclists have long known to ride the coast from north to south to have a consistent tailwind rather than headwind.

I am still in the battery brake-in period so we will see.
How long is the breakin period supposed to be? Is it basically for the motor and wheel bearings?

3k miles or so

This graph is very interesting and it appears to be in rough agreement with what we believe we experienced during our recent 4000 mile trip to Denver and back over the Thanksgiving period. What is the basis for this graph? What data did you rely on to produce it. Has it been vetted against other sources. I am asking simply I would like to use it in the future but have learned the hard way not to trust unvetted data. Thank you in advance.

On our one 250mile trip in cold weather, 26 degrees, we got only 50 percent by my very rough calculations.

Got it from this

I drove from Sierra Madre near Pasadena in LA area to Fremont, CA today on I 5 and 99. I checked the EA chargers at Walmart Santa Clarita. Walmart Santa Clarita EA has 5 new stations starting today. All 350KW. Also at Bakersfield.

I highly recommend 99 instead of I 5. Also 101 from the other side. So many charger locations. So many food choices. Mostly 2 lanes 70mph speed limit. Even without EV 99 is an used gem between SF and LA.

Thanks for the intelligence and advice. Will take you up on that.
