I have the Uniden R8, and it works great in my GT. I'm one of those users that only use it on long highway drives and put it away when I'm just running local errands and short drives because of the wires.

Escort MAXcam 360c Radar Detector & Dash Camera
Anyone using this? I'm intrigued by the dashcam feature.I use an Escort 360 and their dash cam and I like them both. It's a great combo and only requires one wire to power the pair. An issue I've discovered is that the shared power causes the radar display to dim quite a bit making it difficult to view when the detector is on and scanning during the day, but when a detection is triggered you can otherwise see the warnings pretty clearly even in bright light. I really like and always use the bluetooth & app feature to crowdsource the detection with other drivers in the area for longer range, too.
