OTA Update 2.6.0

Since I got the update, the "curb rash alert not available" warning has been constantly on whenever the car is slow enough for the 3D cameras option to be enabled (including in traffic lights).

I am now not sure whether it is a problem with the new update, or whether the update is telling me what was already happening before; it never worked since it was added.

Has anyone else seen this warning turned off since the update?
Yes I’ve had it work plenty.

Actually, for safety reasons, it's nice to know when the brake lights are on.
If we’re getting pedantic about it. For safety reasons, I’d you’re in like a panic breaking situation your eyes should be on the road ahead of you and your rear view mirror, not on your dash making sure brake lights are on or not. This teaches really bad habits. A responsible driver should be able to manage the braking distance to the vehicle in front of them while simultaneously judging the distance of the car behind and modulating your brakes enough to give space in both directions as needed. Even in a non panic situation, if you’re worried about the car behind you, look in your mirror, not at the screen on your dash.

Having the lights show on the dash is neat and having it there isn’t inherently bad. Relying on it for “safe” driving is exactly the opposite of what should be happening.

Do you have SSP? I have a guess that might be the difference. Just a guess though.
I do have SSP, but I am pretty well convinced that there is no difference in the source of the sound. Tried the single blind test (literally! eyes closed, my wife turned the signal), and absolutely can't tell the difference. With eyes open, can be fooled into thinking there is one, but suspect it is just a version of the McGurk effect. If there is a genuine difference, it is too subtle to be meaningful by my reckoning, though interested to hear what others have to say.

I am having this issue as well. Support had me try the "X" button, "microphone" button, brake pedal reset....that did not fix it.

Ive also noticed that my "favorite" radio stations will now disappear one at a time at random intervals. If I go in and manual go to the station, it will then reappear as a favorite. Until next time....

Under 'traditional' foot-to-pedal braking, and as far as turn signals go, I view the icon lighting up as just a 'cute' addition. BUT, I think that icon lighting up plays an important role with regenerative braking. I almost always have my regen mode set on high, so I use my brake pedal once in a blue moon. As aggressively as the car will brake under that setting, I've always been a bit concerned about whether or not the brake lights are properly alerting the following traffic of my braking, and this at least gives me some indication that it is. I hope/trust the brake lights (and icon) are properly synchronized.

I view it as something to check/notice from time to time, but not something to actively focus on while driving.

BTW, I wonder if the icon will show if one of the bulbs is burned out, or otherwise non-functioning. That would be a nice plus.

I've been told by my service center that the 2.6 update is on HOLD for now to correct a few issues.

I am not sure if this is new or old but I notice that I can not run both navigations CarPlay and lucids at the same time

I think I was able to do that at some point before

Another point, the charging stations are not shown anymore in the lucid app map for Saudi :(

Control of seat and steering shell heat/cool from the app!
I just updated to 2.6.0. I logged out of the mobile app and logged back in. My app has no Surfaces section. Any suggestions?

Do you have an iPhone? If so tap the Climate bubble and it should open up more controls including Surfaces. These features are not in the Android app yet, there's supposed to be a new version coming "Soon."

My surfaces sections in climate is blank (iPhone).

Duh! Thanks for that.

Oops. Thanked the wrong guy. Yes, it is just where you said it was. Thanks!

I think it was blank for all of us until we logged out / back in in the app. Have you tried that?
That worked, thank you!

Love the update. For what it's worth, for the second time in the past few days my drive setting has changed to ROLL without my intervention. I only find out when I come to a stop sign or light. I'm always 100% on the HOLD, so it's a bit of a surprise when it changes on its own to ROLL.

Tell your service team. I know from experience that something losing 12V power can reset that specific setting without any other noticeable change. You might have a bad connection or something. Or I could just be wrong.

If you think that’s my take, please carefully reread all my posts on the matter. I’m not saying that at all. I’m saying why would a driver “need” this feature on at all times? There’s a huge difference. I’m all for it being added. I don’t agree with the idea that it’s required somehow.

We have refined the audio system, improving tone controls to allow further bass reduction
That is in the release notes, but the word "allow" leaves me uncertain. Have they simple made the bass control more sensitive? -1, -2, -3 still seem to be in the same spots. Maybe each step reduces the bass more aggressively?

Those were the salty tears I was looking for.

For people with the audio enhancements, would you gauge it as the old clarity with enhanced bass? Is it something else entirely like a true mix of old and new? Best of both worlds?

Some here may feel that 0-0-0 now sounds good, but to my ears, its still more bass heavy that it used to be pre-2.5.0. I was using -3-0-0 with 2.5.0 but adjusted it to -2-0-0 or -1-0-0 depending on what i'm listening to. Really would like to have more bands at the least.

It would really be nice if we had frequency response data between pre-2.5.0, 2.5.0 and 2.6.0. Hoping for continual improvements. 2.6.0 definitely sounds better than 2.5.0 but I still feel that the pre-2.5.0 was FANTASTIC and still remains my reference for audio in this car.

Add me to the group that likes to know when my brake lights are on with regenerative braking. I think that the little car should be displayed even when not in "Drive Assist" mode.
