OTA Update 2.6.0

I updated my Air on Saturday and the issues with connectivity with my phone started almost right away. I started getting message on app saying Mobile Key not connected. Today I tried to reset my mobile key and that didn't work. I also noticed that my fob is not working as well. Only way that I can drive my car now is opening it using my mobile app and typing in the passkey. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks. I just sent you a direct message.

I'm very happy to see the brake light indicators on the car icon, and when you hit the brakes in the garage, you can clearly tell that they light up on the icon precisely when the real ones do. However, with regenerative braking, has anyone verified that the brake lights on the icon also match the real thing? That's not so easy to know for sure, and that's the brake light question that I'm concerned about. They are probably just fine, but I think I'll have somebody follow me around the block, and guesstimate the match.

Got the update today..and after a couple of drives, the Apple Car Play logo is now showing up and firmly planted on my display. I've never owned a single apple product and am invested in the Android ecosystem since forever. Any way to disable this needless Apple Car play button? Again, no Apple devices owned, never connected, never attempted to be connected. Help me make it go away please...thanks!
It will go away, I presume once AA is activated. For now just consider it a bug, the resolution of which will likely make you happier than the resolution of other bugs. :-)

@borski's got a very good point. Rest easy, @lucidtouringman. Your problem should go away last fall. :-)

Looking at a piece of tape on the cockpit glass would drive me crazy. I'd much rather see the CarPlay words even if I never used it.
I was kinda kidding.

My TCU fixed itself overnight without needing to reset it. It’s working now, but feels slower than before. Should I mention it to service?

@Oat @kopik are you still having cellular connectivity issues?
Same here, corrected itself overnight and went online.

I wish Lucid nav had favorites...
This! I just don't know why they don't do this .. everyone has core addresses they choose to visit often...just let us star them...anyway ..once AA comes in Fall 2025 we will have that covered. (I'm being sarcastic about Fall 2025...please don't ask me if I have insider info and the likes...)

Observations after a day with 2.6.0 - things not in the release notes.
Navigation display is better on the cockpit. The street name for your next turn is clearly visible, highlighted in bright blue background. It also seems to keep your sound settings from previous use.
This might be my imagination, but the camera views, both the turn signal and rear view, seem brighter and crisper.
I'm getting bluetooth and phone connection error messages when I first get in the car. But I think it's actually working because I have no problem making a phone call.
I've also seen the car offline more often in the app.
I commented awhile ago on your thought as well with the left and right turn screens looking crisper. It seems like an odd thing that could happen with a software update. However, Tesla did this in my Model 3.

I think this is a new feature with 2.6 too. On the nav map, the different route options now clearly show “Toll.” Before they just showed the difference in travel time
Good find!

I am positive they added more addresses to their maps. I know because my house was not searchable. Now it is. :)

It's not taking up space that was used by anything else. I think it was just blank. Actually, because I have the Carlinkit, I find it really useful! I just posted in the other thread.
I have a similar product, Kybriq. Since the update the Kybriq only connects about 1/5 times I get into the car. I have to unplug it from usb c and then plug back in. Even then, sometimes it will not connect.

Have you seen similar issues with your device?

I only got it a day and a half ago, so it's not really enough time to say. I don't always have mine plugged in. But so far, it's connected every time.

Is it just me or did the lucid maps get a little nicer? I’m seeing enlarged exit signs as I get closer to turns and if I’m driving downtown, I get see through versions of surrounding buildings!? First I’ve noticed that - kinda cool though prolly dangerous if ur the driver!

We have one GT with and one GT without the update, SSP is greatly improved; lucid mobile service is coming tomorrow to put in the updated equipment to run the Audio update… can’t wait!!!! It’s come so far by my own non-audiophile listening experience. 100% volume is like 50% volume compared to the new update. @Denali_Dane can probably attest to this. Sail by Awolnation is a pretty decent test tune, non-Dolby. And Never going back again by Fleetwood Mac for Dolby via Tidal.

Night and day difference,
We played the same tune in the first GT with the update and immediately jumped into the other GT without the update and it's substantially different. Much more boomier base and the mids and highs are also on point.
Well done to the Lucid engineers for the software update on the audio.

Hey @mcr16 ,

Little bug report for the team. The new Curb Rash warning doesn’t properly fit its placeholder when car is set to French.

Little feature request: is the background could be darker and less transparent to improve readability that would be amazing :)

Thanks!

You can set the car to French? I didn't know that.

Since I got the update, the "curb rash alert not available" warning has been constantly on whenever the car is slow enough for the 3D cameras option to be enabled (including in traffic lights).

I am now not sure whether it is a problem with the new update, or whether the update is telling me what was already happening before; it never worked since it was added.

Has anyone else seen this warning turned off since the update?
