Well my car made it back from Florida after getting a new battery which started to throw fault codes.
So the hailer is 40 minutes late meeting us at a prearranged spot as there was no way that semi was making it up my hill. There were two cars left in the truck, mine and a hopped up 90s Camaro. Of course the Camaro refused to start so me and the driver had to jump it a few times. Then as we are driving the lucid off the ramp the hinged part of the ramp on the left side snapped while the ramp was still suspended about 8 inches off the ground. Fortunately ( I guess) the car fell on the Jack point. The only damage I could find is a split in the trim underneath the car. Well that and it looks like I picked up two scratches on the bumper cover on the right side at the service center as the driver had these marked on his pick up sheet. Also they didn’t send back the valet card I left them. Just happy to have the car back. Seems to drive fine

You can’t catch a break! I’m sorry, hopefully you can have those fixed quickly. Glad your car is back!

And you will be filing a claim, right? Any damage would be unacceptable. Sorry to hear about the damage.

Ouch. That hurts. I agree with Tim-in-CA. Any damage is wrong. They, “whoever they is” needs to make this right for you.
