So I tried to turn HA on during a stretch of highway where I’ve turned it on tons of times before. Except this time it kept turning off. Every time I would turn it back on, it would turn right back off a few seconds later.
I think I know why this is happening so this post is for anyone who might end up facing the same issue down the road. I had a mobile service guy come out who was supposed to replace my driver side mirror because it was rattling. He opened and took off my mirror and then realized he had the wrong part, so he reinstalled my old mirror. And then the HA error started occurring. So I think the tech just botched the reinstallation?
I’m supposed to be scheduled for a service appointment at Costa Mesa where they’ll replace the mirror assembly so we shall see what happens! I’ll keep y’all posted.
