Can’t go much wrong since he’s swiping and clicking, if there is a higher level of intelligence required for those controls I would say they did it wrong.

Really need Lucid staff to clarify these things in the spot. They spent billions building these, a little more effort will go a long way, even if it’s just a poster. “Limited controls”

I just found a slightly longer video by the same poster. At one point the screen showed a "Failure to Load" message. This video appears to be shot in a mall display. I wonder why Lucid would activate the software and let people try it out in such a setting if it's not fully baked.

The last thing Lucid needs is for the internet once again to catch fire around claims that Lucid's software is not ready for prime time. We got enough of that from Kyle Conner's otherwise laudatory test drive of the Gravity. (At least Lucid seems to have addressed the loud turn signal that drove Conner and another reviewer to such distraction.)

Disappointing to see this…..The issues do seem trivial but I think at this point most of us can agree that most our UX issues are trivial.

I do hope Lucid gets ahead of this though. These trivial issues will blow up on social media for people who want the clicks and Lucid can’t afford to be silent and let these people run the narrative for them. They really don’t have any owners who can jump in to defend it either at this point.

It’s also not going to be a good look for Peter if he keeps saying “software is the number 1 priority” and then these videos start showing up and Lucid won’t publicly address it. It will make him look like a fool and we all know which fan club is just waiting to pile on and spread that narrative…….

I think it's fine. We still have sometime before "actual" cars make it to press reviewers and more customers. We all know that the few delivered was just a publicity stunt to check a box.

Vegas is pure publicity, sending a non functional vehicle is self inflicted at this point.

I think they are playing to their strengths of looks and packaging with this event.

Is dont think its a software issue. Seems they are locked to not let outsiders read the notes until they make it official. Also some functions are locked on not displayed. If you see the software version is 3.0.0 and no way thats the current version 😀

They really should send one to the Nurburgring, that’s playing to their strength.

Theatrics like loading up 7 people and beating a Mustang GT would also work well at the drag strip.

Get people excited.

People with 120k to spend…give em a good if silly reason.
 
In the last two weeks, have there been any other Gravity deliveries?
Also, @Adnillien any recent fly overs to tell if Gravity production cars are on the lot?

Just like the communication, seems deliveries have gone radio silent also.

Clearly the car isn’t ready and just like they opened the orders on the day of the Q3 earnings call the handful of deliveries they did at the end of Q4 is all about ticking boxes for investors and nothing more.
 
Can anyone tell me what this (circled) is? Is this for the HUD projection?
