Gravity Orders Discussion

Dude you should probably lighten up just a bit. If you don’t get the point I was making, then whatever - this is not at all unusual and 2 months is nothing when they are knee deep in production to get it out as soon as possible. I thinks lots of people here should probably go start a car company and do it all the real right way since it’s so easy.

This is the exact reason I haven't reserved a Gravity because they are details missing.
I will once I know more details....
It is a fully refundable deposit. I don’t understand waiting. But that’s totally fine, of course. It just doesn’t seem the tiny interest you’ll earn on the $1k would make any kind of difference in my life, at least.

If, when more details come out, you don’t like the details… cool, just cancel the order and get your $1k back.

But that’s just how I think.

Well there is also an issue with approval from HQ ;). You know it’s difficult to explain because they are wired differently than men’s :)

I didn't mean to get hackles up by restarting this thread this morning.

I was actually going to open with a joking taunt that @hydbob had bet a Gravity to any takers that there would be deliveries by year end, and I was wondering who was going to win the bet. But then I decided just to ask the more general question of whether anyone had seen any delivery announcement that I had missed.

If Lucid still needs some time to get the software squared away for the Gravity, then I say good for them . . . and for us all who are interested in Lucid's fate.

Still waiting for someone to bet me 😁

“Fully refundable” usually seals the deal for me and “HQ”, heh.

But I hear ya. To each their own. I would never opt to judge someone else’s choices; I don’t have the context.

Get ready
I hate to do this, but I WAS RIGHT 😍🔥❤️
Now who in San Diego got one? We need an urgent meetup lol

Call me crazy, but what if a secret VIP delivery event already happened yesterday at the factory, and no one is allowed to post about it before the company’s official press release, which they’re preparing as we speak and editing a video to go along with it?

I have no solid evidence to back my theory lol, this is pure speculation from reading between the lines, just for fun 😆

At the end end, I agree with @Blue Lectroid, it doesn’t really make much of a difference if it was delivered late 2024 or early 2025, we all know it’s imminent regardless, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.

Also, the video for the start of production was posted on X and Instagram on December 5th-6th, and it’s still there.

Or maybe a company that took money from people almost 2 months ago could have the common decency to provide an update.
Have you ever tried calling Customer Care and inquiring? Perhaps they can give you an update?

So, the deliveries are for employees, friends and families first. So, I think no actual owners got it.
The next iteration is for studio's for test drives then it would be actual owners...

Then, I am wondering who the friends are.....

When I ran a small high-end guitar manufacturing company and we released new products, I used nearly identical language and “friends” meant “our best paying customers who love us enough to not bust our buns if we need to fix a quirk or two.”

I have zero idea whether

I have zero idea whether this is what Peter meant in his post…
