Tomorrow (Jan. 7) Lucid will be delivering our Eureka Gold-Performance Dream Edition. I'm no Tech Geek- I still carry a flip phone. Anyone have any suggestions for pertinent questions to pose to the Delivery Specialist.

Hopefully your flip phone has Bluetooth, because it would really help to have at least your phone connected to the car to make calls. Ideally, you should get a newer generation phone so that you can link the Lucid app to the car and be able to view and control the car. To make full use of some of the connectivity features, you should ask your Delivery Specialist to help you set up appropriate accounts for the various music services. You can set up free accounts for most, if not all the services. Obviously you have some kind of internet connection, since you posted this, so it may not be too hard to set these up. I would also have the Delivery Specialist set up any HomeLink compatible garage doors you have. Although the procedure is not hard once you have done it, you may as well have them do any of the struggling.

I agree with what @Alex says. You're probably going to want to get a new phone that supports the Lucid App. It's not only about controlling the car but also should give you state of charge info when charging. Sometimes the chargers stop etc so you want to be able to check easily on the phone. Also, once your charge is complete you're charged idle fees so again, being able to check the App is important. You can also leverage Apps like ABRP and PlugShare in case the Lucid navigation isn't that great at route planning and finding chargers.

Enjoy your new baby :)

I have an iPhone that is connected to the car by Bluetooth. But Alexa keeps telling me that it is not connected. if I want to make a call, I have to pick up the phone and place the call through Siri. However, the audio comes through the car, thus I know that the Bluetooth connection is working and the problem lies with Alexa.

Hopefully, you have been reading all the posts by owners to get an idea of what we experienced with our deliveries and issues. Some of them have since been resolved with OTA so you should Hopefully not experience much.

One thing that seems to be brought up by a few people is the key fobs and cards. I would ask the DA to show you how they work functionally for both and the multitude of ways to access the trunk/frunk and doors unlocking and locking.

Parking sensors was a big one as well. The park comfort braking especially was a sore spot. Additionally, go for a test drive if possible after setting it all up, especially the facial recognition paired with the distracted driver stuff.

Don't get a new phone, keep that flip phone as long as you can. I wish I could go back...

I am not joking.
