I would like to point out that the Air has a turning radius of 39.4 ft (12 m) from curb-to-curb.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 has a turning radius of 39 ft 4 in (11.98 m).

The Gravity is 38ft curb to curb. 🤯

I only skimmed through the Out of Spec interview but didn't see anything. What did they say? If its going to be a feature of the Gravity at launch then perhaps we will also get it now???
 
The review are definitely glowing about everything, except ... software. Which is the biggest issue with Air as well, so chances are this will be a recurring theme with Gravity. I know what you'll say "but these are pre-prod models". I hope you're right, but there's too much smoke not to have a fire as well. Overall, I'm very happy with the reviews and very excited to get to drive it.

I got a call from my Chicago Oakbrook Design Studio, they said would be Spring 2025 before they got one for test drives...

Gravity ticks all the boxes for what my wife says she wants - but it’s hard to convince her to take the leap. Can’t wait to be able to do a test drive.
 
I'm subjecting my wife to Kyle's video now. If she doesn't lose consciousness, I'll take it as a good sign.
 
After reading some of the comments to the video reviews I have to say, there are some whiny people out there.
  • Price too high. Make it $30k.
  • Looks like van.
  • Owned by Saudis; money and jobs needs to stay in US.


However, I'm not going to whine about them here! :D

I think what they don't say is:
  • "I really like the Gravity, but it's out of my price range, and yet it's exactly what I need and want".
  • "I really like the Gravity, but my self-image is too fragile to be seen in something that reminds me of a van. Heck, I don't even wear pink shirts."
  • "I really like the Gravity, but I'm not knowledgable enough to know how institutional investing works or even where the car is made".


It's just me.
If I don't like a car after watching a video review of it, I don't even comment. I move on.
 
It’s very early but overall impressions are promising. Honestly the more I see of it the more I think it resembles a minivan rather than an SUV. Just my personal opinion and I am sure the design team had certain parameters and features that they were working towards ie short frunk low long wheel base etc. Not necessarily a bad thing if that’s what you’re going for.

There are so many comments about it looking like a minivan...but there's no way you can get the space inside without that shape. It's just impossible and the minivan form is the most efficient way. SUV for off-road utility, minivan for space utility, Lucid for sport utility. Best Damn Car
