Hello Everyone, my first post here. Got my AGT in early December and use it primarily locally - made my first >100-mile trip last week and charging was easy at EA in Novi, MI.
We all understand that starting a new car company is a gargantuan undertaking and I keep admiring how much Lucid got right. Yes, there are some minor issues, which I put into two categories, 1. "Easy"/short-term and 2. Longer-term. The first are software-related and require "only" development, e.g. the garage door code presents itself on approach, but on exit the surround view stays on too long and it takes three presses to close the door - close surround view, hit Homelink icon, close door. The second are physical issues, e.g. the sun visor is set too low on the windshield and prevents me having the seat as high as I would like because it interferes with my vision. Also, the cupholders are good for a Starbucks cup, but not much else. It's hard to believe things like these made it all the way through to production.
I imagine at least the vast majority of owners are intelligent, thoughtful people with valuable real-world feedback that could help Lucid further delight future customers. It would be a great move on Lucid's part if it sought feedback on our issues and suggestions, which would make us both feel heard and would certainly help with brand ambassadorship. To quote Carlos Ghosn, "You want to make sure this particular car is going to please the customer and then you're going to be rewarded with something that is going to please the shareholder."
Overall, I commend Lucid on an award-winning first effort. It has created a quality, well-executed and enjoyable car that is a pleasure to drive and has moved the needle on the range bugaboo that frightens many people away from their first EV.
