I opened an EVGo account anticipating a trip where there are no EA chargers near my destination hotel. First time, I needed to call customer service to walk my through how to connect using the app. A human answered the help line and it took just a minute to explain the process. The charging session worked fine at 115 KW. Good not stellar. The next day I charged there again. It was easy to do and worked just as it should. Same 115KW charging speed but it appears to be reliable. Pricing hurts compared to the free solution at about $.40-.50 per KWH. But when there is no alternative happy to pay for reliable performance.
