I don't think it's charging you then. It doesn't know how to. It's just making a number count up for your entertainment. Not using the EA app. Direct plug in.

Then you didn’t get charged. That’s just telling you how much you would’ve gotten charged if it weren’t free. Not using the EA app. Direct plug in.
Saw the charge on my CC this morning.Yeah I would confirm if you’re actually charged afterwards. May show it on screen but it actually isn’t charged and is $0.00
How? From where? Who did you give your card info to?Saw the charge on my CC this morning.
Can you look at the charging history on your Lucid app ? Maybe it will confirm the charge?Saw the charge on my CC this morning.
I am absolutely flabbergasted and astounded, lol. Genuinely.Saw the charge on my CC this morning.
I just charged earlier this evening at EA for the 2023 Air Pure bought in April. $0.00 fees. No EA app or any cc info stored on lucid app either.Saw the charge on my CC this morning.
I think that this shows that the Lucid/EA free charging partnership is jumbled up. Maybe this is why people like @acader are having a hard timeI just charged earlier this evening at EA for the 2023 Air Pure bought in April. $0.00 fees. No EA app or any cc info stored on lucid app either.
I had to insert a card to begin charging. Without a card, it would not start at all. I do not have EA app or any other charging app.I am absolutely flabbergasted and astounded, lol. Genuinely.
Idea: did you perhaps sign up for the EA app and give them your VIN? EVGo has their own PnC setup based on your VIN, so I wonder if EA recognized your car via the EA system and then charged you instead of using the Lucid PnC?
Otherwise, which card? Where did they get it?
Ok, now that's making more sense. Next time, just open the Lucid app on your phone. Sometimes the automatic authorization with the station fails. When this happens, an Electrify America button should appear on the charging screen of the Lucid app. Hit that, choose your station number (will be printed on the station), and it should start the charge. This isn't new, that handshake just fails rarely and seemingly at random.I had to insert a card to begin charging. Without a card, it would not start at all. Thank you very much for this tip. I have to charge today and will try it.Ok, now that's making more sense. Next time, just open the Lucid app on your phone. Check your Lucid app. Under the 3 lines on bottom right, click Lucid Charging Service then Service Summary. Mine shows the number of years of free charging and gives the dates. If you had free charging it should show there.Charging as I write this. 82% charged and $21.05 so far. Up until two weeks ago, charging at this exact location was free. But today all of a sudden I’m getting charged.
My car was towed to lucid service center and a whole bunch of updates were done. I’m wondering if because of these updates, the free charging went away.
If you do have free charging and EA charged you, just call Lucid and they will reimburse you.Thank you very much for this tip. I have to charge today and will try it.
You must look at the lucid app. That is the best place that shows your free charging plan.I looked at my purchase agreement and other docs for our 2023 Air. They all state "Electrify America Charging Included" but no time frame. I think it's for 3 years. I have not checked the Lucid app if states the length.
