Car won't sleep - 1% Phantom drain per hr

Lucid CS just replied to me. Weird, the reply had only one line, it said "Buy an iPhone" ...
Buy an iPhone to work with your iCar!

Please don't shadow ban me...

I found an APK mirror site an downgraded the app to the early May version. Will report back if it resolves the drain. Currently at 70% from 81% after 2 days of sitting in the garage.

I have been having the same problem for about 4 months now. I called service and they said they were going to run some tests.

They called back and said the battery was fine so everything should be fine.

I have been getting about 2 mi/kWh and a couple of times 1.6 m/kWh. I keep telling them that my driving pattern and habits has not changed at all.

I charged to 395 the night before last. yesterday afternoon I got in the car and it was about 374. Last night it had 354 after 2 miles of driving. This morning it had 294. My mi/kWh is 0.11.

Passive unlock has been turned off, my fob has always been kept in a Faraday box.

Wow, you must have a looooot of patience :) I would have lemoned the car till now. You basically have a car that doesn't turn off.

That is a different problem, and one you probably need to see service about. This release (which caused this problem) has only been out for six days, so if you've had a phantom drain issue for four months you have a different issue.

Another data set point from my observations. Last night I walked by my car with a phone in my pocket. I heard a "click" and a humming noise as if the car waken app. The bizzare thing is I previously forced stopped the phone app and I have passive unlock disabled. I have no idea what cased phone to communicate with a car. The result this morning I woke up to 4% loss. Checked the "testmycode" api and car was in monitoring power state. The phone app battery management was set to restricted. I know all of this doesn't make sense and should not happen. Maybe I missed something. Maybe the phone app was not fully forced stopped.

Please post if there's an app update or resolution.

I've noticed that the app restarts itself sometimes, I can't tell exactly why or when. It doesn't stay stopped.

Btw I haven't seen any drain since downgrading my app

I've just removed my mobile key and uninstalled my phone app until I hear of a fix. My car lost 7% of its charge in 16 hours, and its interior temp was 82F this morning.
It's something to do while waiting for the Android Auto OTA.

A lot of times after I park in the garage, I would hear the car humming loudly but it already locked itself so I would have to get my fob, unlock the car then lock it again. Then it would stop after maybe 20 seconds.

Last night I was in the garage, the car would start humming for about 20 seconds then stop on its own. This happened twice while I was in the garage for no more than 15 minutes.

I have been turning on my garage AC so service cannot say maybe it's the temperature in your garage.

There was a period of time that the phantom drain was minimal.

I'm glad you guys figured it out, it's been driving me nuts lately. I charged to 95% at 9AM, by 6PM it was down to 82%. The car was humming all day long and every now and then the fans will go nuts for minutes. Of course the heat exacerbated the issue (the car is parked under the sun at +105°F). Apparently the car was awake the whole day for some reason, passive unlock is off, Android app seems to be the culprit. Even though I uninstalled it around 5PM and the fans ran again at 6PM. Will continue to monitor.

The latest version also includes expanded battery draining.

I thought the timing was great :)
