Car won't sleep - 1% Phantom drain per hr

Like the sleeziest car salesman would say "My loss, your gain" :)
Oh I don't know about that....Its felt like a loss again with this car... I'll be honest, I had all the right mindset about this being a new car maker and to keep an open mind as things will be messy ...but today it felt like its taking too much of my life and time to manage/babysit this car...I think the cracks in my Lucid fanboy mindset have started to appear...this saddens me...because I love the car...but all of the little unpolished aspects ...lack of Android Auto and these recurring bugs are sincerely wearing my enthusiasm out which I have kept up for over 2.5years of ownership...anyway...thanks again for ALL you did and all the testing...If its any consolation I was going pretty frustrated last 2 days and keeping perspective...In hindsight had the thread been named something more obvious ...like battery drain issue etc. I would have probably gone in sooner....so just my two cents...

Also, I closed the app, shut off my phone and went to the car after setting a 20 min timer, but the car was still on looked like cos the software booted up almost instantly at least in the pilot panel...ill give it more time to see if it goes in deeper sleep state...oh and Its charging now too...

Idle loss is not a significant problem when your car is plugged in.

For unplugged cars waiting in a parking for weeks might result in a depleted battery.

Quick update on my end- looks like about a 2% loss overnight- so maybe 1% every 4hrs or so. Shut off unrestricted background use on the app and shut off notifications. Hopefully that takes care of it and doesn't impact use of mobile key.
Also, hopefully someone updates this thread when there's a fix so I can fully take advantage of the app again.

I'm guessing this phantom loss is what's causing a lot us to have repeated charging notifications when plugged in overnight

I can also confirm 0% battery loss overnight after completely shutting down the phone app.

I have a feeling Lucid won't be able to figure out mobile phone key until completely redesign solution. Either have door handles presented when approaching the car and suffer battery drain. Or manually open using the phone app, key fob, press handle and don't suffer battery drain. I prefer second option. I much prefer using key fob than keep losing battery capacity overnight. I hope I am wrong on this one.

25 Pure, S23+, 1800 miles. Had the same drain issue and hot cabin. Mobile tech was here this morning and acknowledged the drain. I was able to give him support for 4% drain in 12 hours last night which he said was helpful. He wasn't aware of the android issue but documented everything in detail and will pass it on. He checked out all systems on the car as well and everything passed. I was impressed by his knowledge and effort.

This was clearly not the intent, and is just a bug.

I suspect when the cameras security system will be activated with AI hog, the idle loss will be much more.

Lost another percent when I opened the app this afternoon. No clue if it's the app or the vehicle.
Annoyingly need to force stop I guess.

Force stop and drain will stop as well.

Btw, Lucid (Marqie) reached out asking for app logs. So at least things are moving.

When service contacted me today they said they already had 5 other vehicles with the same problem. As everyone else has already communicated if you force stop the app and put in restricted battery mode (on Android) this will resolve the issue. I'm using Home Assistant in the interim.

You can see the amount of time the vehicle was in MONITOR mode instead of SLEEP. It was constantly waking up from sleep and going to Monitor mode about every 6 minutes. Was fully charged at 86% on Sunday Evening, Monday after a 50 mile drive to and from work the battery was down to 53%. You can see I resolved the issue this morning around 10am when I discovered the Lucid mobile app was causing the problem. Since then no problems and the car sleeps almost immediately.

I thought just closing the app was sufficient, no? You have to change the battery settings too?

all you need to do is remove the app from memory... open it when you want to drive (to let the mobile key work), then after driving put the car in park, get out & let the car lock, then remove the app from the phone memory.

Interestingly (to me because I've only been using mobile key for a few months), even with the app closed, the car still woke up as soon as I walked out of the house. There's times when I have the app locked open in the background, phone in my pocket, and it won't unlock as I'm standing next to it for a good minute. I have to take the phone out of my pocket and even unlock it sometimes.

But I understand that at least some of the inconsistencies are the result of the phone BT not being active. Just weird.
