It was. I fixed the location issue a few weeks ago. I know it doesn’t make any sense but
I’m not an iOS dev, I don’t know why things break

Mine is currently set to “when shared” and it’s working well. That said, I really don’t know what “when shared” is for but it seems unique to my Lucid app and maybe it’s to help prevent battery drain?

Husband and I both have iPones with same settings. When he does to sleep, his phone battery is 100%. When he wakes in morning, battery is dead. My phone battery has no issues.
Apple ran diagnostics on husband's phone and found no problems with hardware.
Battery usage points to excessive draining by Lucid app. I deleted and reinstalled the app but that didn't resolve problem. Lucid told me to close their app and don't reopen it. This seems odd.

I’ve noticed the same issue for the last couple of weeks. I typically keep the app open in the background as Lucid suggests. However doing so is currently depleting battery life rapidly. I’m hoping it’s a temporary issue.
Same last month until the car was in service in another state then it stopped.
I posted this in another thread. I notice excessive iPhone battery drain after a car charging session. What I do is kill the Lucid iPhone app after the car completes charging, then immediately reopen it. It seems to prevent the excessive phone battery drain.
