Autopark

I'm not certain there is an answer to my question but I'm having a problem with the autopark function. When parking in a vertical slot it insists on backing in. As I'm handicapped this obscures the handicap plate from passing police, additionally a number vertical slots show "head in parking only". I have been stopped and cautioned twice by police. Additionally if there are 3 or more vertical slots it will parallel park at the outside edge of the vertical line markers. Am I doing something wrong or is this a function of autopark.Using

I believe there is an option to select head in for vertical parking. Also, it won’t work if there isn’t at least a 3D object on one side of the parking spot.
