Like the service dealer person you usually work with ?
Yup. But you could also just call service and depending on the location that is probably preferable.

The app has a list of service centers and phone numbers, and you can select your preferred (aka closest) one.

John is pretty good on email and very good if you send a text directly to his cell phone. I am not sure on the best way to get in touch with Lena.

A cool little idea, our local Tesla store in Kierland commons held a small event co sponsored with the local Tesla club. They had tailgate theme, drew some people on the mall to see the cars, and had some free food and swag. Might be cool to see a more public store event like this for Lucid. Just throwing out a marketing idea.

Thinking about doing a trip to Vegas Nov 22. How do you think the EA chargers will be going from AZ to Vegas during thanksgiving?

I am driving ICE on that day and weekend to Vegas. That sums up my confidence in EA. I will have my parents with me. If it was just me, I probably would drive the Air.

Okay this sounds like I need to take the Tesla then. Holidays get busy and this sounds like be cautious glad to hear the honest concern.

We had a fun EV meetup in North Phoenix this morning I even got the chip on my windshield filled! I was the only Lucid there.

First time really driving the Lucid through some very rainy weather. Between fog and rain could not see the lanes on the streets. I wish I remember how to turn the auto pilot on I was trying to figure out while driving and completely forgot the key combo. Honestly I come from Tesla where the key combo is an either single click of scroll wheel or double click. I ask the Lucid people to make it easier for us to use autopilot.
Just like double click left scroll wheel it would help for when you are in bad situations and muscle memory not there to remember all the keys . also I have no idea what lights I use for fog.

So you forgot how to engage a function and it's somehow a problem for Lucid to solve.

I will be honest I feel it’s far too many keys in a stressful situation. We should be able to do it one action especially when needed for emergency.

Who is using highway assist in an emergency?!? If you can't drive because you can't see, you are going to rely on highway assist to drive for you? Also it's just 1 key push that you already pushed to engage ACC...this is ridiculous

Isn't everything??? There was some guy in one of the FB groups last summer who wanted to sue Lucid because they disabled DD Pro after the trial period since he hadn't paid for it. He claimed without the extra cameras, he could possibly hit a child because he wouldn't see them and it would be Lucid's fault. I normally don't call people out, but that was too much.

It is not an emergency feature. You should never be relying on it. If you can’t see, take a break and let the rain pass. Don’t rely on cameras that are getting hammered with rain and may force you to take over at any moment anyway. You are the emergency backup for the computer, not the other way around.

The visual lets you see the lines and where the car is centered that would be valuable data to have in a rain storm on freeway speeds

No it doesn’t. The visual shows an approximation of how far away the car in front of you is. That’s it. The lines may change color if you cross them, but it’s not telling you anything about lane centering.

Pretty sure those line are a general representation. I've never seen the car where it's not centered no matter where I am in the lane. You CANNOT rely on them if you can't see the road. Also, if you truly can't see the road, pull over and turn on your emergency flashers until the rain slows down - it's just common sense.

Finally, HA literally takes 2 buttons pushes to activate. The bottom left one to turn on the assist function and the left scroll button to set your speed. Voila!
