I switched to iphone this week after using Samsung phones for the last 10 years. Partially for work, partially to better integrate with apple TVs at home and with family members, but also because I got tired of waiting for Android Auto. It's a sad day. But I do like the wireless Carplay.

So in this implementation, you are logging in to the various apps on the carlinkit directly (using the android OS) and your phone is just doing what it was doing before. You wouldn't be using android auto at all to talk with your phone -- you're just using the carlinkit to load things like...

I got one also. I'm gonna play with mine for a week before rendering a verdict. Plug and play worked in initial setup, but Monday morning will be interesting.

I'm told the employees will start in December but it won't be open to the public until January. I'm also told that it will be the biggest Lucid service center in the nation.

I got the Emporia wall unit after reading this thread and others, and had it hard wired. I did try the time-of-use option and put in my utility information, but when I plug in the car, I get the message "cable connected" on the Lucid, rather than "charging scheduled." And when the clock hits...
