Yea...white carpet is beautiful, but first day I got it I put the mats in and never looked back.

I'm going to stick with the white carpeted mats a while and see what happens, because they look and feel great. Thursday nigh it started raining on the way to pick up some take-out. I had to plod back to the car through a wet parking lot, and when I got out of the car at home I noticed some tiny twigs and similar debris lying in the dark, wet spots on the carpet. I thought, "uh oh, there goes the carpeting". The next morning I put a hand-held vacuum to it, and it cleaned up as if nothing had ever touched it. I'm wondering if they have some particularly effective stain resistance treatment on these mats? I doubt they will handle much urban winter slush very well, but I'm hopeful they'll work in south Florida for a while.

Has anyone heard a high-pitched, mechanical squeal coming from the A/C vents when getting into the car? I've had it happen twice, and both times it stopped when I toggled the fan speed switch on the dashboard up and down.

I thought you could exclusively use the key card?

I was planning to never use Alexa. Guaranteed too much data tracking. Google and Apple are bad enough.
You can, but if you use the key card you won't have to push the door handles.

The people are here today to Opti-Coat the car. In washing it, they found a piece of trunk gasket loose on the upper driver side of the lid. (Hydbob, is this the same place your gasket came loose?) They said it appeared as if someone had tried to reglue it.

Also, every time they used the button to close the trunk, the trunk reopened. It would only stay closed if we pressed on the top of the trunk lid before it starting going up again. I have been into the trunk several times, and this has not happened before.

Yea but mine was on the right side, same spot though.

Have you had a problem with the trunk not staying closed?

No, but was there an obstruction that could have triggered the sensor? I had issues before with the motorized opening and closing. Check the latch area on the trunk. If something somehow fell into the latch section that could cause it to pop back up.

Grey color and yes Eureka Gold. The mats work great BTW, very little trimming necessary

| ! This does not fit 2022 Lucid Air

I'm debating between Gray and Beige. Since the interior is 2-tone, maybe Gray in the front and Beige in the back. I'll get both colors and with mixing/matching I can have 4 different combinations – actually more if I don't put the same ones in the front

I wish the Lucid Air had heads up display....and would tell you what the speed limit is at the current location. I could have sworn the Air initially advertised having the heads up display

The stick that has P,R,D should be lit up at night. You cant see it in the dark
That seems like overkill. It's pretty natural to use it as a shifter why would you need it lit up?

You cant see it at night
I haven’t had a problem with that at all at night. It’s similar to the location of the Tesla shifter and also Mercedes-Benz. When you’re holding the steering wheel you just need to extend your fingers and reach it – Muscle memory. Also, the instrument panel generate enough life that you can see it

The letters should be lit so u know up is drive or reverse
