If you decide to buy now, you should go in fully expecting there to be various issues. It comes with the territory of being an early adopter of a brand new OEM, regardless of whether the car costs $30K, $150K, or $1M.I’ve been a Lucid enthusiast for quite some time. I want them to succeed and love the car. Have a deposit for a GT with a VIN scheduled for about 2 weeks. But, I’ll be honest…following this Forum closely I’m very concerned about some of the quality issues and now am 50/50 (at best) at whether to proceed.
The question is:
1) How significant are the issues
2) How well is Lucid addressing the issues
Based on what I've read on these forums, the issues are not significant enough to make people regret getting the car.
Ultimately I am in the same boat as you and watching these forums to get insight into #1 and #2 above. I'm also doing some soul searching on whether I'd be satisfied going from 911 to a large heavy sedan
