Offering several wheel options at the same price is not uncommon in the industry.
And I don't equate wheel size necessarily with either an upgrade or a downgrade. Most wheel manufacturers vary price based on material (steel, alloy, even carbon fiber), construction method (monoblock, 2-piece, 3-piece, forged, pressure cast, standard cast), and design complexity. Prices don't usually vary much based on wheel diameter within a given wheel model.
The smaller two wheel options have air blades that improve aerodynamics -- something that is lacking with the largest wheels. As
@AirDoll said, different people have different wants and needs. Someone who assigns high priority to range might well view the smaller bladed wheels as the upgrade.
I don't feel the least bit unappreciated by Lucid. I welcome every choice they give me.
